So, assuming that the Trophy Leak theory is still valid, the LoZ:SS character was actually Impa? It certainly lines up with the most recent batch of leaks.

Frankly, I think Layton being in the game as a trophy is almost a certainty. If Rayman is there, I can't see a good reason why Layton shouldn't.

The DS versions were the best selling though right? Not even taking into account it's when the rest of the world got the series.

I'd like this more than the Chorus Men.
The idea that someone would join a competitive smash bros. community because they wanted ghirahim to be in the game and would leave because he didn't get in baffles me.
The great majority of this thread need to play the GBA version so you're not alone.

I can't wait to see Shulk. He's going to look amazing on the Wii U version of Smash, I feel it'll compliment his design greatly.

The Final Needle - Mother 3
Battling kilometers underground, with electricity sparking through the abyss and environment, while the final needle sits there waiting to be pulled. Fenomenos and Mineralis appear sometimes in the stage to attack you, you can also battle back.
EVENT: In a certain moment of the battle, someone can pull the final needle and summon the great dragon to cause massive damage to the others and destroy the stage, making it the end of the world (with enviromental hazards), a minute or so later, the dragon gives the miracle of birth to a new world, thus, resetting the stage.

If hes in I really want to know how monado will truly work and if the time stuff will be in his Final Smash. Because even though he's a sword user I see sakurai really changing him up to not be the typical type.

I'm sure Sakurai has something really amazing/uniqie coming for Shulk, playstyle wise. I can't even begin to think what that'll even be. My most excited character for that reason alone.

Think I'm joining #TeamReal. Having Duck Hunt as a playable character is just too exciting. Don't know how to feel about the DLC, especially for veteran characters, but whatever.
Ghirahim as an assist trophy is good enough. He isn't as iconic or a series staple as other Zelda characters.

Well if people are going on teams because of what they want rather than judging it by how authentic they think the image are, then I'm on #TeamFake because Wario deserves a Wario Land stage as well as Ware stage and the 3DS version is the perfect opportunity for that with that handheld games for the handheld version "rule".
Yes I am aware Shake Dimension could be represented in the Wii U version but the Land series for me is still strongly a handheld series.
Also no Virtual Boy stage? How tragic.

Regardless if it's real or not, I'm actually quite satisfied with this roster.
Oh wow, that's amazing work kirby_fox. I don't really deserve credit for two squares. I wish I could have helped out more but this month has been a killer on my free time. Literally browsing GAF is all I've done for fun (since I don't have to commit a large amount of time to it each time) and the rest is work.

So, we got the Fusion and Zero Mission Justin Bailey outfits. Will we get the original and Super Metroid outfits as well?
If they were bothered about giving every series a new stage based on handheld games in the 3DS version, megman's stage wouldn't be Dr. Wily's castle.
The fact that the castle and punch out ring were straight up ported leads me to further believe the small stage selection and lack of new stages for certain franchises in the second leak, I really don't think they had much time on this aspect of the 3DS version.
I saw a scan with a 3DS menu which has two icons, one with villager and words and the other with two Pikmin holding flags. I'm assuming these are online modes, any idea which?
I'm guessing with randoms or with friends.
Also, 3DS has text during matches, I saw a shot with speech bubbles and text. Probably limited like Brawl though to friends.

It's pathetic that we'll probably have to wait another generation until we get a Smash game with proper voice chat.

Free for All and Team Battle, those two options will probably come up after you pick for fun/for glory.
Doesn't seem like the spectator mode made it back.

I don't know about Idolmaster, but I'd absolutely love to see Hatsune Miku in Smash. Not that she has any reason/excuse whatsoever to be in Smash... but man I'd love to see it.

I don't know about anyone else, but I just believe that at least SOME of the leaked screenshots that were posted are real (though a couple of them may be fake).
I'm not saying anything about the supposed DLC list. I have no idea what to think about that. I also have no idea whether or not everything has been unlocked in the character/stage select screens. But I believe those are real screens.
