WHAT

did they change the count again

robbing me of my 1k

Did you recently add a free/F2P game to your account? Valve changed the Free on Demand sub type such that free stuff no longer counts, but this only comes into effect if you add a FoD licence to your account.

One thing that pisses me off about selling cards is that originally all I had to do after deciding the price was hit enter twice and it would the card would go up for sale.

Now I can only hit enter once and then use the mouse to hit OK to confirm.
What a dumb change.

Could just be me though.

Beat Arkham Origins. Will probably write a "full" review later(just played story, didn't really bother with missions, and multiplayer? What's a multiplayer?)

Nope, that started with the new client for me too. Stupid change. Makes selling cards a lot slower.

Anyone from the UK/elsewhere bought stuff from US Amazon recently?

I want to buy PvZ but I'm not sure if it's still safe to do so. It's asking me to enter my details to confirm it's me.

I live in Central-Europe and I have bought 3 titles from Amazon this week. I am using an Oregon address because of the tax rate. No problem at all so far.

I got that a week or two ago on my laptop. The only keys that are useless to international users are those that are purported to be valid only in North America as the order will be rejected if you don't use a US-based payment method, but at this juncture only 2K and R* games are locked down in this way.

Thanks.

I'll enter my info and hope for the best then.

My address is set to Dayton, OH. Should I change it to Oregon? Will it make a difference?

They probably knew that they would end up having to censor it. So they stopped ahead rather than trying.

The censorship is rather mild (in the comparison image, for example, you can still quite clearly see the goods), which ostensibly confirms that Valve's allowing adult content provided the appropriate warnings are put in place as per the few hints that have surfaced throughout the year, so I don't think the game in its original state would have been an issue. The question now is: Where's Manhunt 2? ;)

Thanks.

There's no need to change it unless you notice on the confirmation screen that you're paying a tax surcharge.

Just got it and it works. WOOOOO!!!

First purchase since the summer sale.

And I finished TWD S2. Spoiler impressions here. A++ game overall. Really gripping. The only game that has made me emotional.

I wanna get the Dark Souls 2 Season pass for my friend, it's only 15 euros on Nuuvem, is that a trust worthy site? I think I heard about it here before but just checking.

Also is there an English button on there?

last week I took my now playing games down to 100, that wasn't easy, believe me! Uninstalled all others. Feel kinda proud I managed to do this (><)

Psst...you can also get US PSN cash codes this way.
...and you know...get stuff for cheaper than EU PSN.
I'm all about dat PC life mang.

I think Nuuvem is trustworthy. It told me I can't buy the things I want because they're region locked though.

That's no way to play the game.

You should do something about that while the sale is still going.

Sadly, I cannot. All my fun money had to be spent on med stuff. Only reason I even have Pinball & some tables on my fun is I had a ton of free Amazon coins and couldn't think of anything else to spend them on.
I've got roughly $10 I'm saving for either a decent sale game or something, don't want to use it to double dip on pinball.

I just noticed this sale and I think I'll bite. You don't know if there is a bundle to get all the tables for slightly cheaper do you? I would like to just get them all but £27 may be a bit too much for me.

I've finally beaten the final boss of Divinity: OS, what a long and satisfying fight, at some points I thought I wouldn't make it. The
void dragon
dealt heavy damage and got a lot of AP to spend, even your tanks can get destroyed in a few rounds. So I used the summons(summoned by the mages of course) to attack and distract it, and used my melee characters to deal with any enemy that tried to harm the mages.

Ending is kind of lame though.

Morning my good GAFfers, hope everyone is okay. Coffee is done, can make an extra cup for some of you if you want one.

I have a question that may be a bit silly or show my ignorance regarding this matter. I know that, in a Early Access game it is expected to have many bugs, glitches, crashes, etc. The game is not yet finished so it's understandable to have these issues. However, can a game in this state make you PC work "harder" as in, pushing more for your graphic card, increasing the heat/making the fans spinning faster not because it's a demanding game but because the game is not optimized yet? Is this possible or make any sense? Thanks in advance and I'm sorry if this is an obvious thing.

Oh man, I wish I could have some coffee.

As far as the question, don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure that that is possible but shouldn't actually be harmful.

Hm ok, guess I'll just try it then!

Nuveeem is absolutely legit, you just have to enter a Brazilian address and you're good to go.

It lists every game as region locked just to avoid complaints in the occasion someone from outside Brazil buys an actual region locked game.
If you're unsure, just check on SteamDB or ask here.

So I was browsing Greenlight and found this. It hasn't made it through Kickstarter yet (only has $90 and it's only 1% funded with 34 days left), and it's on Greenlight, but it sounds like it might have potential. The concept sounds so good.

It's supposed to release next summer if it's funded. Those The Thing influences are making me want to back it already.

This looks pretty awesome, I'm a sucker for doges.

BeamDog has announced Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition

Icewind Dale? I guess I should pick up Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, only played a bit of 1 way back when it originally came out but I don't think I made it very far.

What happened to SteamGAF while I was gone.

I don't want to have this waifu discussion so hard I'm considering playing games.

Welcome back Doc, good to have you back.
Save us from waifus pls.

Alright thanks, I just made an account, is Dark Souls 2 season pass fine then? Doesn't look like it's restricted on SteamDB, unless I'm overlooking it.

Do I have to have a Brazilian address for my paypal then?

Should be fine, got my copy of Dark Souls 2 from there. No hassle with a german PayPal, I don't think they check that.

Sadly there is no such thing. It's been on sale before though and will likely be on sale again, so don't feel obligated to go all in. I've bought every table, but probably explored less than 10. It's an insane amount of game in here.

An unoptimised game isn't going to push your system any harder than something like Crysis 3. I wouldn't worry.

Yeah, I picked up a handful of Marvel ones and one of the Star Wars ones. Looking forward to going in. Just recently picked up the first Pinball Arcade pack too. All about dat Pinball.

you are being sarcastic, I hope

I hope you are, considering US PSN has better pricing like 95% of the time. Very few people I know uses EU PSN anymore although we all live in Finland. The occasional better sale on few indies doesn't help much when bigger games are 70-75 euros ($92-99) to begin with.

Thanks for answering Jase, it only happened once and noticed the fans going up quite a bit but as soon as I hit "Alt + Tab" to the desktop they went back to normal (and then they went up again when returning to the game). I'm going to assume it was a rare occasion mixed with a hot summer day.
