Though Dr. Mario and Lucina at least had their own models. Dark Pit is a texture swap - why couldn't he have just been an alt, with Alph getting the promotion to separate slot?

Yep, that's Magicant. It has Flying Man and everything. It's heavily modeled after the Mother 1 version of Magicant though. You could hear the Mother 1 Magicant music when the streamer was fighting Ness to unlock him.

I'm pessimistic. If Lucina justifies her own slot when her moves are all the same but just don't have a tipper, I can't imagine Dark Pit having a lot of effort put into... well, anything, really. :'s

Exactly. At least Dr. Mario and Lucina look different. Dark Pit is LITERALLY a differently colored Pit. I wish the "LOL U MAD Y SO SALTY" posts were bannable.
