20th Century Boys Vol. 1

This seems interesting so far. Glad to finally be starting on this one, but I didn't know it was so long so I'm betting it will take me quite a while to finish.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun Anthology Extra Chapter

I should seriously start reading this.

Noragami Vol.01

A god without a shrine, a girl who charged into a bus and a teenage spirit now joins forces to fight spirits.

Pretty much the same as the anime was, just nice to see Hiyori put some wrestling moves again before she doesn't do anything for a chunk of the series. Nice to see all the translation notes at the end of this volume too.

Mill 4

Despite her possessiveness and constant begging for attention, Mill is still only the type of cat/person to quietly come to you at the door when you come home late, rather than complain it took you until midnight to come home and you didn't call

Aki's such a good guy as well, I'm sure there'll be some major heartrending chapters sometimes in the future if an apology over something this minor can come out as if straight from the heart. 44 more chapters to go

Ikenai Mousou Fudanshi 02-03

And we continue the back and forth with the one who thinks of nothing but delusions and the extremely dense guy.

Tokyo Ghoul - 143

Jesus, what a downer ending.

I wonder if a sequel will ever see the light of day. =

Just wait till Oct 11 where there's gonna be an event for Tokyo Ghoul. I mean they did say there would be a surprise, so there might be a sequel. Seriously though there has to be a sequel because this is one of the biggest cliffhangers in manga. Like there are so many questions and unresolved plot developments. And for Ishida to leave a symbolic series like this to end without any closure would be one of the biggest trolls that would even come close to Togashi's levels of trolling.

From recent one-shots, I realize that there are generally two modes of Yuri one-shots.

Tragic yuri:
Your Fault

Happy yuri:
Kila Kila

For some reason, I enjoy both of them. lol

It's funny because the one-shot basically reduces storytelling to these tropes, since you can't really have arcs. Although what makes Your Fault interesting in that it shows the point of view of both girls in the story. But ultimately, it ends the way it has to end, because annnngst.

Youkai Apato no Yuuga na Nichijou 1-16

The book is laughably bad most of the time. Like that they skip over a lot and just give the important parts, although it does mess with my sense of time in the series. Enjoyable enough, but I never really got the sense of anything sticking out. Just gonna go with the flow with this~

It's on. I'd pick Tama over Fuuka any day though. Too bad she won't win because she's not the title of this manga.

Kin no Kanojo, Gin no Kanojo 01

Did you drop this golden girl or this sliver girl?

Average kid likes this ojou-sama. Stuff happens, she falls into a lake and a goddess appears asking him did he drop a golden girl or a sliver girl. Being the nice guy he is, he says neither so she gives him both of them.

Oh this sounds fun.

Outside of personal preferences, Fuuka has had a better influence on Yuu life than Tama. What do Yuu and Tama even have in common now a days? They haven't really talked much in the last 10 years.

But what if she wins wouldn't that be a twist huh.

I know they're bound to get together at some point.. but they'll eventually break up or something. The only possible twist here is when Seo changes the title from Fuuka to Tama.

At this point, yes. She'll also be the reason why Yuu's life will be messy in the near future if we're going to trust Seo's pacing in manga.

Common? They have a promise. But it hardly matters here if Yuu doesn't even care about it.

So My Wife is Wagatsuma-san is ending. This month. I only read a few chapters, but I am wondering if they ever got around to showing how that happens or whether it was all about stopping bad lifestyle choices of his friend?

Tama already screwed his life a fair bit at this point, and there's no dating involved yet!
I have high hopes for next chapter.

Wel, a promise they did as children is hardly the best reason to date someone you haven't seen in a significant amount of years, especially when you're much closer to someone else at this point.

That's a hard one to answer since the future is ever changing, (late spoilers chapters)
right now they aren't together in the future
.

They do show some events that supposedly lead to them to be together in the future though.

I started awhile ago 20th Century Boys, but since I had just read Monsters, Pluto and Billy Bat in the last 3-4 weeks, I ended up giving up on it, too much Urasawa in such a short period of time.

I'm only reading like 60 or 70 series, and I still forget a whole bunch of stuff.
Like I have no idea what's going on in One Piece or Stratocracy of Altair anymore.

That was an unexpected transition between chapters.

Apparently incest runs in the family if his aunt is anything to go by.
Cousin is still the best route.

I have high hopes too! As for the promise thing, for someone using a Nisekoi avatar, you sound a little less convincing. :p
That's from Nisekoi, right?
