As with anything else like three people are going to finish it and they'll look back and pretend not to lament about the time they wasted, the lives they let down. And then we'll start the Obrigado! book club.

I finally got this today. I just need a place to put it.

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
I just realized I've read the pilot of that upcoming Jump series "Sporting Salt"
It was fucking awful. How did that get picked up?

Huge Nickleback Fan
I've read this before, and since we talk about how many manga end, probably due to cancellation or ending as planned, i want to post about one manga that end in a very irregular way.

Sakura Tetsu Chronicles end

This is probably the best 'Fuck you' to jump as far as cancelled manga goes. We see cancelled manga going with half assed ending, abrupt ending, or showing glimpse of what the true ending is. This one just goes full meta and decide to make the cancellation as the story arc. 'Reader' become a character in the manga, editor goes straight to war, genre shift happen.

This is why i love Ryu Fujisaki. He have this insane troll logic and just goes with it.

Trivia: all character name based from philosopher. Sakura Tetsu based from Socrates, Furato from Plato, and many many more.

What's the black tip?

Yeah, that headphone jack no one uses, but there is that universal lock thingy that you see on straps that you can use to place this on your phone or handheld gaming device.

I thought it was a keychain. I have an Ishimaru keychain from DR with the reversible head. I want the Kyoko one but it's not available in the convention I attended in. I'll post pics later. :D

It's more of a strap, which I like more since I can place them on more things instead of just the keychain loop.

I got those DR ones too. I bought the whole set. :3

Akame Ga Kill 1-27

Couldn't wait for the anime anymore, just read half the series in a few hours. Simply a fantastic series

Will finish the rest tomorrow

Tokyo Ghoul Chapter 143 End

You know I've never felt too attached to a manga series till now. Like I cried really hard when I first read this chapter it was too much for me. Though say what you will but this series is amazing and GOAT for me even if it was left with a cliffhanger ending. And Kaneki is one of my all time favorite MC. He's one of the most enjoyable character I've read in a manga. Anyways I gotta say this is what I felt towards Ishida the author when I finished this chapter.

Also there's this colored page of Touka in the chapter which looks beautiful, but there's some hidden messages in the picture.

It has the number 19 written on the left side of her jacket. The number 19 is associated with the Sun Tarot card which is one of the luckiest cards and symbolizes a bright and optimistic future. Which could set for a sequel.

And then here comes this hint which is the biggest and the brightest one. If you look closely to the right corner where you see the cars hood. Next to it the words "See You Next" are written which seems weird. Like why would Ishida write those words and waste his time unless he's hinting for a sequel.

But yeah the more you look at this chapter closely the more you'll find subtle hints. Such a genius.

Wait Tokyo Ghoul just ended?! So then there is no reason that the anime shouldn't be able to adapt the entire series? Outside of the fact the anime completely botched the material from the first episode?

Well technically there may be a sequel since the ending left many things unresolved like a bunch. And there's an event coming in Oct for Tokyo Ghoul in which Young Jump said there's a surprise. Which I feel may be a sequel for the manga because announcing season 2 of the anime would be dumb since season 1 is already butchered. And I just can't see the author ending this series when each vol is selling like about 500K.

They'll stand amid the corpses of the fallen and look fondly to the future.

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"

MangaGAF SUZUKA (by MangaGAF Hero Seo Kouji) READALONG EXTRAVAGANZA!

This reminds me of that one time that backstabber betrayed me at the base of Rage Mountain, when we agreed to read Rage Town together. There were a bunch of mountain related statements. I wish I could find that post..

I don't read itas of now, so I don't how's the narrative of Tokyo Ghoul leading up to its epilogue, but isn't it possible that the author just don't want dragged over his manga? Overdragging shits into plain of oblivion is one of the most fatal tendency done by japanese authors.

That itself is a problem as well. I want to brought up FMA as an example of not overdragging shits, but FMA as very well paced, and in the end all of the important question already answered in satisfying way. If this is the case then I can't know for sure until I read it.

Master of Killing Time is much much better localized title.

Tokyo Ghouls 1-5

So far the premise reminds me of a bleaker version of Parasyte (which is by no means a bad thing). I'm curious to see how the main character will evolve and adapt to his new found reality in the next few chapters.

Sooo.. I am mostly done with scy's previous recommendation for romance mangas. I skipped the S&M one since I'm really not into that. Recently finished Uwagaki. Planning to read Wagatsuma-san but it's ending in two weeks so I'll wait for it to end to marathon till the end. Anymore recommendations for romance manga? I prefer completed or almost close to the end so I won't have to despair waiting for it to be completed.
