I'm pretty positive Bungie initially was just going to have the player be human or something. Maybe they just forgot to add little dialogue bits so it's not so confusing. Either way, I find it funny every time Ghost starts jabbering on about Humanity and its history. Meanwhile, I'm a robot (I guess with a human consciousness or something? still not human) and he's a robot - so why is humanity our focus?
Story is so bad it's funny and I love it. Just take any story concept from this game and think about it and it begins to make no sense at all. That said I enjoy the universe and the different enemies a lot, wasn't expecting that at least.

Vanguard patrols and strikes build Vanguard rep. Crucible builds crucible rep. If you're in a faction, all of the above goes toward faction rep.
IMO, Strikes are a waste of time for this purpose. A Level 24 Strike gives you +25 reputation which is nothing for the time they take. You can knock out half a dozen or more patrol missions which give you +10 a piece in the time it takes to do one Strike.

Either way, if you're focusing on the strike playlist or crucible, you are bound to have 200 marks after 2 weeks or less. Then you can buy legendary boots, gauntlets, and chest armor and jump from 20 straight to about 26 instantly.
This! I cannot stress this enough, Ascendent Shards and Energies are not bad loot!

Well. I now have:
3 legendary gear (warlock bond, boots, arms)
21 motes of light
11 strange coin
So once I do the weekly and get 2 more motes it is 23 for the engram right?) I should have enough for purchasing gear from weekend vendor dude. All is good with the world. Gonna go do moon mission to farm experience for my gloves now.

I think I'm confused on how the Titan Defender's Ward of Dawn barrier works.
Was trying out the subclass last night in the Earth strike, and had the perfect opportunity when the big ole Orb boss teleported literally inches from my face. I immediately busted out the "indestructible shield" before making nyah nyah faces from the cozy safety inside.
My mocking was short lived after he fired two boss bolts at me and the shield disappeared. Must have lasted 5 seconds in all, and there I was with a sliver of health running my ass off in the opposite direction.
What am I missing? Is the thing indestructible, or does it just have a certain amount of HP? Usually they tend to stick around for a good while.

I was wondering if Crucible rep can go towards a faction. I thought not, but I could be wrong. It'd explain why my Crucible rank is so low despite playing so much.

do u physically have to kill stuff to level up a class? I am wondering if u can just level up a class by standing near the enemy spawn in skywatch while other people kill everything. Would make the achievements for the other two classes a piece of cake

Well, in my experience proponents of monarchy aren't exactly on the left political spectrum either. And I live in Austria where political parties trying to reinstate monarchy are actually a thing.

I think it does have some sort of health, but it's huge. Mine has only popped early if hit with a super or a massive boss attack.

It's the first game on ps4 where I really love recording gameplay segment. The encounters are so fucking intense and hardcore.

When I realize that I need to beat two minotaurs as the same time I lost it at the end. Do they have a weak point ? I couldn't beat this level because I needed to leave but if there is any advice before I try again, I will take it.

Just did a level 12 story mission as a level 20 Hunter.
Is it wrong that it felt good to just destroy shit for a while to get my frustration out at not having a single legendary engram drop or be RNG'd since I started playing?

The Giant Bomb article about the lack of meaningful completion loot for the Raid is making rethink if I want to attempt the raid this weekend, or at all until Bungie acknowledges it's loot system issues and patches or hot fixes it.

If you pop it near the Septiks Prime he will flat out get rid of it with his close insta kill attack, so that's something to keep in mind.

The encounter was extremely cool at first. I played it on hard too, but all those waves were absolutely ridiculous. There were like 2 too many.
