It's a great story I'd say if done well The issue is it's mostly about character introspection and deconstruction with a heck of a lot of internal monloguing (the movie had no chance in hell of adapting it properly). A lot of extremely important points are revealed through this which is the biggest question mark over this adaptation. Whether they'll bother to do that or leave it out.

The show is a prequel It's written under the assumption you've read original (which is a VN that hasn't fully been adapted yet). Which is why the end will be fairly strange for anyone that didn't read it, since it's all explained in the VN it assumed you read (this was a LN written years after the VN was released the VN is 10 years old).

Well never was hyped about Aldnoah Zero, but Terror did deliver a good soundtrack. So overall I'm happy with that much at least.

I...I knew Rider was going to die in this show. I mean, spoilers we're everywhere on here, so I could see it coming. But...what a way to go out. He didn't even SCRATCH Archer. Not a single hit, or even a frightened reaction from him.

They'd have to pad things out even worse than in the 1st season if they made it right now.
25 episodes sometime next year sounds about right.
Gundam 00 S2 comes to mind.
I honestly thought that, compared to every other death in the series, that Rider's was the most "noble" way to go. Both sides fully respected each other and were willing to use their capabilities to the fullest to basically just have the king's fight they wanted earlier. It's not like Rider thought he would win, it was a very clearly one sided fight, but he still decided to stay. Thinking of deaths like Lancer's, was Rider's death really that bad?

Plot is moving forward at a great pace. I wish the battle sequences were more elaborate. So far all of them have been one attack wins the fight.

Given the number of chapter still not adapted and the actual pace of 1 chapter per month, then yeah, Summer 2015 is a realistic date for season 2.

It's from some concept footage or something early in the summer. Yea FSN looks a shitload better in the movement stuff than F/Z. The Lancer vs Archer stuff looks fantastic too.

Never watched the show series but I did watch the 3 part movie series.
Was very good, too bad Berserk takes forever to update.

Thinking about starting Jormungand, but I'm unsure whether to go with the sub or the dub. I tend to lean towards subs, unless the dub is well-made (like in the case of Black Lagoon).
Tried Texhnolyze, but got hit by a heavy-duty dose of Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy by episode 7. Not to mention that the narrative is so disjointed.

Yeah I just took a look at the manga to see what has happened since the end of S1. They definitely need more content or the pacing will be worse than S1.

SHONEN HOLLYWOOD HOLLY STAGE FOR 49- Episode 12 Hello, World
So many good songs today, the trio of Tommy, Kira, and Shun is the best song followed, by Tommy's solo, and then the song with Kakeru and Makki duo. Hello World for the best song with all five, I was so glad at the full version playing live that they did and then their individual portions of it. So intense when they got to THAT part. I wonder what they will do in the final episode, hopefully back to back full versions of all these shows on stage.

I watched dubbed and I enjoyed it. I liked dubbed Koko more, and some of the side characters. Jonah can go suck a bag of dicks though

At least Gil took Iskandar seriously. That means a lot. He only uses Ea on opponents he believes are worthy of his most precious treasure.
Hell, he even spared Waver after saying he wasn't Rider's master, he was his loyal servant.

The fucking characters in Aldnoah Zero just keep doing crap contrary to their motivations. Like, why the heck is this Saazbaum so determined to fuck over earth and the one innocent royal member? They give us the motivation for it in an episode and it's like...no wait, why would you even want to attack earth then?
But worse, why in the world would Slaine save him? He knew he wanted to kill the princess and thanks to Slaine he proceeds to do just that. Like how fucking stupid is this? Talk about some forced tragedy in the end there.

I'm think I enjoyed that ending. I think I'm satisfied. Honestly, I'm not sure anymore. After watching Aldnoah, everything seems better and I'm having a hard time establishing what relative normalcy is.

Yeah, something that bugs me about many anime finales is that they leave hardly any time for denouement. To an extent this is ameliorated by OVA episodes, but those take a long time to come out.
