Perfect.
Can't wait to pick up mine at launch!

Personally I don't see a reason to go for this bundle as I already have 2 wavebirds.
If the game is $50 and the adapter another $20 then the GC controller is like $30 in the end.
It's not quite a bargain, is it?
The game would be $60. A BRAND NEW controller would be $20,the adapter $20.
Sounds like a deal to me
but that equals one hundred us dollars, the same price as the bundle
Thank the gods I just received the GC to Wii Classic Controller adapter to mess around.
no need to buy this
For sounds like Four.
A quick question here:
Those new gamecube controllers will work with an old GC or the gamecube ports of the Wii?
Infamous 3 PS4
No wait that is really stupid

This does not emulate a Classic Controller - this straight up allows the Wii U to use Gamecube controllers, plus it has 4 ports, so it's clearly the better option.
So these are essentially Gamecube shaped CCPs, right?Wireless as in Classic Controller Pro?
Hori : http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ND0E604/?tag=neogaf0e-20
PDP: http://www.game.co.uk/en/Super+Smash+Bros+Mario+Gamecube+Controller+For+Wii+U-304923
I feel bad for PDP as the Hori one looks a lot better.
Smash 4 (Wii U)
Smash 4 (3DS)
Get it?
Correct, plug into remote etc. The LR appear to be buttons though rather than analogue triggers. Also the PDP one seems to have them the wrong way round compared to Smash (controller mapping will fix).So these are essentially Gamecube shaped CCPs, right?
So is this controller made by Nintendo or is it made by a third-party company?
The controllers are selling for $30, so it's a savings of $10.
Whoo hoo.....
I still don't know if I want to get this or just the game and gcn adapter without the controller. The controller looks nice, but is wired and I'd rather use my wave bird.
NORMAL CONTROLLER DOESN'T HAVE SMASH LOGO ON IT!
I believe they said it would.I suppose the adapter works with the Wavebird receiver right? I already have a Wavebird, so just the adapter would be enough (+ no wire!).
Has it been revealed whether or not the cord is longer on this controller? It's $10 more than the original GC controller.
Wired? Are we back in 2002 again? I know why they did it, but some options would be nice. Not all of us play 1mm away from our TV.
I'm seriously thinking I'm going to pass because my TV and system are nowhere near where I sit.
You could use a Wavebird, or just use a Classic Controller or the Gamepad.Wired? Are we back in 2002 again? I know why they did it, but some options would be nice. Not all of us play 1mm away from our TV.

Yeah, that setup makes sense. Even though I sit directly in front of my TV, I'm not really sure what to do with the adapater/cord dangling from the Wii U on the shelf where it sits. Might need to rearrange.Wired? Are we back in 2002 again? I know why they did it, but some options would be nice. Not all of us play 1mm away from our TV.

This is specifically for people who want wired controllers though.
Can they please just announce the Wii U bundle already?
Will older GC pads work with the adapter or is it just the one that comes with the new Smash?
All Gamecube controllers will work.
