I'm not counting this towards my 31 Days, but I did see Bram Stoker's Dracula before it expires on Netflix on the 1st. To my knowledge, it's more faithful to the original novel (which I've never read) compared to Bela Lugosi's movie. I do love how they use shadows, expand on Dracula's powers more, and the atmosphere of Transylvania. Also, being used to Lugosi's movie, which is almost an hour shorter, this movie does feel like it runs long, even though the pacing is still good. Also, I like how Dracula is given an origin, which makes me wonder if Castlevania was inspired by that, or if it was in the original novel. I do recommend it for vampire and Dracula fans.
