Yeah, I let your drivatar get first in the first two races in a Championship and you got far enough ahead that I realized if I got first and you got second on the next two I would still lose out. So I was stressing having to both aim for first and try to sabotage your drivatar to make sure it wouldn't get second. Thankfully on one of the races you ended up doing very poorly and I had some breathing room.

I feel your pain. I was literally 0.5 to 0.2 seconds short about 3 times in a row. Finally passed it after the 10th or 11th try. It was a blast though, especially with the classical music blaring in the back. Such a gorgeous game.
It may be something different from the normal wait time. I still don't have my Tier 5 rewards, which I think may be related to the server traffic issue. The Forza Hub hasn't been available for me, and I have a feeling that may be what "triggers" it in Horizon 2.

Same. P3tran has the same issue so it must be a server thing. Just glad they fixed the VIP and Festival issue right now as I was stuck...

I loved that one. Gotta dodge those trees.
Aurther Gies also criticized a new game with a deliberate open-world structure for not being the same closed-circuit tracks that constitute the bulk of the sim genre. He also didn't think it would be useful to attempt higher difficulties, for the sake of his review, to see if it had an effect on the difficulty curve over the course of the game.
He's not exactly what I'd call a thoughtful reviewer, based on his writing.

Has anyone been playing this on 360? I have a copy on the way but all the comments here seem to be xbone players. Also the 360 version has no reviews and appears to have zero dlc. Can anyone playing the 360 version let know if the last Gen version is at least as good as fh1?
Yeah, the classical deal is a nice touch.
I didn't read his review. The bucket list has different types of event difficulties. Some re labeled medium, hard, etc.
It definitely goes up in difficulty.

Not quite "only", as there's various countries in Asia (Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, etc), and a bunch of Pacific island countries that all drive on the left, and aren't former British possessions.

Right, as in if I attempt to start up the app, it says something that amounts to "the Forza hub isn't currently available"
I was replying to a post about the Commonwealth... There's only one country in Europe that is part of the Commonwealth..

The option is still locked for me, and I'm surely past the point where it becomes available.
Just to confirm, you should be given an option to join a club after the third championship race and the
"Train in Vain"
That's not it, they are first trying to get the servers stable for Horizon 2, then they're gonna send out Forza Rewards (cars and money).
Clubs don't work for the same reason right now. GAF is at 111 members and stayed there for hours because nobody can join any club right now.

Three, actually. They're easy to overlook, both being small island countries, but Malta and Cyprus are both members, in addition to the UK.
Oh, and the initial assertion would still be incorrect even if restricting it only to European countries, thanks to Ireland.

I just got access this morning (with an error that wouldn't allow me to join). You have to complete the drive to the festival destination before the option becomes available.
Well to be clear, you have to reach another Destination after the Showcase

Been there, done that. Heck, I've completed the championship at the next hub after you return to the Festival, and still nothing.
EDIT: Fixed it. I'd blocked user-created content in my privacy settings to disable Drivatar designs, and after unblocking, the option to club-up is now available. Attempting to join now gives me the same unknown error that others are experiencing. Yay.

Been having a blast with the game. I've been mainly just exploring and doing the bucket list challenges. Had to give up on #10 Lancia Delta S4 one for now.
My only complaint with the game so far is in the tuning menu. I could be wrong, but I am almost positive that when upgraded or added a turbo or supercharger in FM5 that it altered the sound of your car. You could hear the turbo blowback and supercharger whine. Small detail that I miss, always thought the attention to detail was cool.

Yes,nyou can actually try switching regions on xbox and buying direct. It accepts my debit card where PSN won't. Add a fake address to Oregon for no sales tax

Fastest way between two points is a straight line. You have to literally ignore the roads as the challenge says.even the route they draw up.
I don't know how QA missed it but the song titles for the classic station are a track behind.
The William tell overture came on and it said it was a different song. Then once it finished it said the next song, which is some somber kind of depressing sounding one, was the William tell overture.

I was doing that but it's hard to dodge the trees. Wasn't really following the route.

Only if you had simulation damage on. Bring up the menu, then hit View.

When you are coming up to a cluster of trees, you will see the tree tops before you see the trunks. Pick two tree tops out that are next to each other and you will almost always split them without hitting the trunks.

Still haven't unlocked the ability to join a club. I'm having too much fun cruising around the map.

Only with damage simulation on. Or you enter photomode and reset visual damage.
