You have been spouting some of the most absurd crap I have ever seen on GAF. Whether or not you've meant it is besides the point. When someone consistently makes posts in defense of their preferred platform completely devoid of logic over and over again with relentless vigor most reserve for romantic pursuits they deserve a time out to reflect on their actions. As amusing as they might be to read and chuckle at out of sheer pity they are the definition of shit posts. They contribute nothing but opinions baselessly portrayed as fact without a shred of corroborating evidence or common sense. So yes I think you deserve a time out.

Here it's directed. The prior just refers to stuff that's an entire message as opposed to part of a message in discussion.

The PR line since 2007 is "Sony has no games". It hasn't been true since Early 09. Doesn't stop the fanboy nonsense.

Sony isn't selling a less function console (in terms of " what else") because of dlna or fantasy football apps. People are buying it and buying those no games for it.

One of the lessons of this generation, and one Sony learned last gen, should be focus on making a great GAMING machine first. People want and expect the other crap, but if you nueter games to do it, they're gonna flock to the company that did focus on them. And love it or hate it, the hardcore gamers lead the casuals in this biz.

I finally started playing my Wii U again this past weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving) with some family, and we had a blast playing MK8, SM3DW, and Rayman Legends.

It's unfortunate that the same people who are complaining about the lack games for the XBO and PS4 aren't purchasing a Wii U. With Bayonetta 2 releasing soon, there should be no excuses. Next month's NPD should be interesting as I still have some hope the game will sell better than most people think.

I dunno about other people, but I'll personally get a Wii U when Fatal Frame comes to America. I didn't buy a Wii until the Fatal Frame 4 fan translation was released.

Sony won this generation on May 21 2013 and cemented their victory on November 15 2013. Anyone who pretends otherwise is lying themselves.

This is quite an awkward post. Its not an "idea" that PS4 offers more in the way of games, indies, PS+, etc - its the truth. It holds a firm grip over the competition in the most important areas related to gaming except for XBL. PSN has been buckling as of late and no doubt it is from the huge influx of new PS players. Its not a coincidence that a huge game like Destiny will push limits of the network, probably more than people expected. I'm also quite sure the runaway instant success of the PS4 was also not expected and infrastructure to their online services suffer due to it.

People who play games and want "more" will go for the system that has more to offer in that department. Right now that is PS4. It can easily change if MS decides to look up from their spreadsheets every once in a while to proactively engage in the current state of the medium, they did it with OG and 360. There was a drastic shift from both companies mid-gen last gen and that's when the tides turned. Sony picked up the ball that MS dropped and they aren't letting it go. People notice this and gravitate.

See that's also the beauty of using something less conspicuous though. It would be just as easy to have a legitimate post with a tip off to quote for extra info.

If you don't like Nintendo games then a Wii U is pointless. I don't like how shallow a lot of their games are thematically, and the family-centric approach doesn't appeal to my personal tastes. The only game I'd personally enjoy on Wii U is Smash Bros.

So yeah. People complaining about lack of games are complaining about a lack of games that they want to play rather than literal numbers of games.

There won't be any competition this gen. Sad. At least I would prefer closer numbers between PS4 and XBONE, just for the sake of a good old equitabe console war. But right now it is not a war, it is a slaughter...
Concerning WiiU I just hope they will reach a stage where they can be a little bit more healthy financially speacking.

But mass market is sad. Destiny, despite being far from critically acclaimed sells tons. Bayonetta 2 despite good reviews will probably bomb (it is not sure but highly probable).
Today a commercial success of a game depends so much of the size of the marketing campaign...

What?!? When was that ever hinted at? I always thought it was meant as more of a value add to the PS4 (a way to stream your games to another room if you want to) than a vita replacement console.

Yes. There is a massive portion of people who just lurk GAF, look for leaks, and then leave.

They don't contribute to the community, they spread the leaks all around the Internet and raise GAF's notoriety, and they raise the chances of us getting into trouble with NPD.

With the email tag system, leak origins + leak reposts will be obfuscated for that massive portion of people, making it safer to leak stuff.
