Just saw this over at Nintendo Everything. No idea what it's for, but I suspect some sort of VC stuff for Virtual Boy, and a new release for Polarium (or the DS / GBA games for Virtual Console) ?

Oh, and mandatory gif:

And did you know? There's a trademark for Nintendo Direct.

I don't see them using that trademark for their eventual return to VR.
Polarium is an interesting one, can see that related to QOL. Edit: whoops, completely forgot about the game Polarium

つ ◕_◕ ༽つ GIVE WARIO LAND VB !! nontindo pls༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

Polarium was a great little game for DS (and GBA!).

I'd certainly love to see them bring that to Wii U VC, or even better, create a sequel for Wii U / 3DS.

VirtualBoy VC incoming on 3DS?

This is clearly a follow-up to Nintendogs. Now it will be a virtual child you have to raise.

Another clear copycat of Ubisoft's properties by Nintendo. smh

We will all go blind x have bad eye sight by virtual boy , its the 90s all over again :p

I do wanna play warios virtual boy game, also that robot fighting game B^)

If they do a Virtual Boy VC I just hope we can change the colour from red. The games would look much better in black & white.

Cant wait for everyone to play the real gem of the Virtual Boy -- Teleroboxer.

Though, I don't know how they're going to pull off any games besides Wario Land, Mario Tennis, and Mario Clash, because most games used the dual d-pads.

Still, even if they release only one title, I do hope it's Wario Land. Such a great title.

Could be a Wii U release.

What was that health thing that Nintendo were going on about a few months back, i wonder if this is anything to do with it?

Polarium? Really? That is a game I never thought would come back in any capacity (not that this trademark confirms anything). It was a fun, nifty little game though.

As what? An epic failure? A perfect example of what not to do? How being in denial of your own product can make you look silly for constantly trying to pretend it was good?

Polarium is hype though.

Wow, I loved Polarium so much but I forgot all about it. I think Picross DS made me forget it, that game took over as ultimate puzzler of the platform. Wouldn't mind a Polarium eshop title!

It gave us one of the greatest platformers ever made (wario land VB). That's enough to worship it for.

Teleroboxer

This was the main game I rented from Blockbuster along with the Virtual Boy back when that piece of shit released.

Honestly the only time I had to stop playing a game because I was about to puke. I had eaten oatmeal and fish for dinner, so it wouldn't have been pretty.
