Well 'jetpack' in that you can do double jumps and boost left/right/forwards/backwards. The addition of verticality is pretty damn awesome. There's a classic playlist without the exo suit though for those that want it.
Isn't there a game mode that's basically football? I seem to remember something from one of the oreview videos, guess is should turn on my PS4 and find out myself

Can't get a game going but "uplink" says: throw or carry the drone to the station to score. Sounds interesting.
Yeah it is optional, it's a 'classic playlist' with classic team deathmatch, classic domination, classic kill confirmed and a few others. I 'think' classic search and destroy is one but I'd need to check.
Yes, classic CoD has TDM, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Search and Destroy.
Edit: Beaten and confirmed lol sitting in a lobby.... Oh well back to dom and TDM all that's playing now with no wait.

Best Buy is offering up to $20 trade-in for CoD:Ghosts (depending on which version you trade, new-gen are $20) when you use the value towards picking up Advanced Warfare, plus they're offering an additional $10 off coupon. They're doing the Sunday night 9 p.m. release as well.
Has anyone taken advantage of this yet? Think I'm gonna swing by there tomorrow.

Does anyone know how the 2XP works? Do you have to enter a code for it to kick in or does it just run for a set time?
I only ask because I'm in Australia and our launch is in 11hrs. Just curious if it will start straight up or if we have to wait.

Ah that's right. I remember seeing the trailer for it and getting some really heavy UT vibes. Would love to try it out but the only modes I can find a game in TDM. Also, has anyone else with the game noticed that it doesn't display the total number of people playing in each mode? I seem to remember all the previous CODs doing this.
It gives you your overall k/d but I thought you could see your stats for each game type.

goddammit, i'm caving. it's just that i need a new game where i can shoot people as a stress relief. any psychologists on here, and is that too weird? lol
One of the interesting aspects is the whole 'loot' system that they have in place. From what I've seen so far it seems to be cosmetic items as well as weapons with slightly different stats than the 'standard' model you unlock at whatever level. (example being an 'alternative' model has +1 extra mobility but -1 range or something like that). Now if you receive a weapon from a level you haven't reached it you can't use the weapon 'standard' or 'modified' BUT you can trash that item for XP that adds to your level overall. I just did that there now with a weapon I couldn't use (for level 32 and I'm 12) and it gave me some xp which helped take me from level 11 to 12.

No way! I bought MW3 and it basically unlocked it on Steam for me. I didn't see why they even had a disc inside.
There's a good SP in there I know it. God it's gotten annoying when people just look at the MP. I can't turn this into Titanfall day 1.
It's CoD. I can't believe people forgot the whole vibe already. It hasn't been that long. There seems to be an unwanted vibe about CoD anymore.

oh ye i know it unlocks the digital version my download speed is only 5mbps now so i need to use the discs or else it will take forever to download even with preoload.

I gotcha. I remember installing games when I had to do it at another building. I didn't have the Internet for a couple years.
I preloaded RAGE at the University I went to. God the nightmares I had after that. Lol now I take the connection for granted. What was worse was BF, now that's what nightmares are made of. I never want to install another 50 GB game unless it's covered in Doritos and Mountain Dew. I swear to God. I'm overreacting a bit, but I do want to witness the single player campaign. I haven't enjoyed a war campaign in a while.

He's acting a bit spoiled, but I can somewhat relate to why he got so mad. I've been let down before big time with FPS, but I actually enjoyed MW2 a lot. That's been a while. I am hoping for the best with AW.
It's hard earned cash the market mandates on open and used copies. You want the new experience without having to wait for the better scored version.

That seems like that would get legitimately annoying in MP, but probably doesn't matter all that much I guess.
