I'm new here, so I don't really take Shinobi's words as 100%, considering the clips which followed which show'd no ADS on any other weapon except the BR. He also later stated that the person who gave him this information later reduced it to "some" weapons, and said that MS could easily very well change it before we see anything, so doesn't sound too reliable/100% :S

I could be totally wrong and learn my lesson the hard-way though :S

Considering how things go and knowing 343, i am willing to bet most weapons have it.sprint is in too and who knows what else tomorrow...

I'm fine with sprint, frankly I do believe Halo needs some change here and there, and sprint is good at bringing that. If they balance it properly it can work out perfectly fine. Also I saw no iron sights on the AR.

I am cynical because of how terrible the previous iteration was. It does not mater if it was their first game,they knew that fans would not like it. Sprint messes with the map flow and therefore messing with how Halo is suppose to play. Changes can happen but not copying others. You cant balance sprint since maps are made with it in mind therefore you can only appeal to one option. The guy did not press left trigger , i bet tomorrow we will see it.

pretty sure Halo's gameplay is allowed to evolve. Bungie changed powerups to equipment and powerups from H2 to H3, then Bungie changed it from equipment to powerup loadouts and powerups from H3 to HR, and then 343 changed to loadouts to full on weapon and powerup loadouts in H4. Halo's weapons, map style and movement/playstyle has change with ever single game. if you want to play slow Halo enjoy H2 Anniversary and that way you and everyone stuck in mid 2000 can enjoy slow Halo.

I think it speaks more to 343 seemingly choosing aesthetic choice over really solid map design. By all means play H4 again and don't sprint around and see if that magically makes the game better for you. It doesn't? It's because of the map design itself. It looks great. But a lot of levels felt small and linear and not sandbox like the previous iterations.

It's been proven time and time again that sprint doesn't work in Halo. And 343i including it again shows to me that they still don't care even after the Halo 4 fuck-up.

Call me cynical too, but 343i has yet to show me as to why I should trust them with not fucking up a new mainline Halo game.

I keep seeing this. Where are you getting this impression? Descope's back, equal starts are back, they've apparently put the emphasis back on map control... yeah, there's sprint, but that doesn't equate to "learned nothing."

I don't think it is strict cosmetic, I think it is a 1.5 zoom or something like that. Automatics probably get decreased bloom when zooming in since the SMG and AR has it. Basically they are making automatics be more competitive while slightly nerfing the BR since it gets the sight.

Looks purely aesthetic, and health seems to be the same way it was in 2/3/4. Nothing like Reach.

That's actually something I like. I don't like how long the shield bar is though. It needs to be shortened.

Halo 5 is alive.

I don't like anything that pauses aim and shoot. Sprint could be made to work much better than in Reach or 4, but I cant see the point of sprint if there is thrust/dodge all round.
