The first two games already have PC ports, they'd just have to port MGS3 (and Peace Walker I guess)

There is already a 360 MGS 3 so I suppose porting it would be relatively straightforward.

I finally bought Ground Zeroes and it runs magnificently (60fps, max settings). There are rough edges but overall the presentation is extremely solid.
I can't believe we will get a mainline AAA MGS on PC, what a glorious time to be a PC gamer (even if it will probably not ship day and date with the console skus).

The MGS2 PC port is insanely awful, from what I remember. I think when it released it didn't support Radeon graphics cards.

I just tested this on my laptop (which does not even have the minimum specs listed on the Steam page) and this game fucking runs in 1080p at 30fps+ with every graphics option set to High (not Extra High, though, I will test that soon).

Either my laptop runs on some kind of dark magic or this game is once again one of those awesome PC ports we deserve.

Anyway, I still dislike Kiefer Sutherland as Big Boss, but the game itself is alright and looks stunningly beautiful.

When going to rescue Chico, call the chooper as soon as you start the mission. Also when approaching the prison, go from right to left instead of going to the entrance directly. Take out the guard inside the prison and then go for the one in the entrance.
