No idea. Was kinda taken back that people were lining up 1.5 hrs in advance so I just took my place. Granted it was a chance to sit down that I gladly appreciated to streetpass.

I'm home. First day impressions - I really didn't know what to expect. I think I'm enjoying it, but a lot of the games both video and tabletop are just not interesting to me

Tried out an interesting Smash clone called Brawlhalla.
Waiting for a while to play a MOBA style game called Gigantic before the expo hall closes.
I'll be heading to the console and arcade rooms after.
Hope to try out Evolve tomorrow.

Yeah, Game Church have been at PAX Prime for at least the past two years. It's a funny, weird and kind of admirable thing.

I was hoping for a bigger variety, but the room was so small. Tomorrow I'll be there though. I'll be wearing my red PC Engine shirt from 1CC shirts.

Oh my gosh I'm losing it. I don't know if it's from seeing ryckert Jeff and Alex walk by the screwattack booth or me being up 16 hrs on no caffeine. I'm going to the giant bomb panel. Don't care what my body tells me.

Yeah...not much to do. I don't care about indy games and Gearbox & Bioware seemed to be the only big names here and the games they are showing are old. Oh well, at least i've been to a PAX.

So far I'm enjoying this!
I was at PAX 2013 and I had fun but I feel like this one is a little stunted but still has a lot to see and do. But it's very noticeable that this one is a lot smaller and doesn't have as many big names, but Nintendo surprised me, even if their booth is underwhelming.
I got there at like 2:00 and walked the whole floor, subscribed to indie box and bought a few games from them, then tried out the Oculus Rift at the Elite booth (sooooo cool!!! I'm sold on VR now!). I love all things retro so the abundance of indie games with a retro feel isn't a weakness to me. I don't have any urge to check out the gearbox or giantbomb stuff or anything like that.
I didn't like it that there's not a lot of retro gaming vendors. I only saw two and one had prices that were just outrageous, even by expo/con standards. I was hoping I could buy a custom GameBoy but no one has them.
Tomorrow I've got a lot of panels I want to go see and in between I`ll hit up the arcade room.

Not going till Sunday but VR is the thing I'm most looking forward to trying out. Even if it's some short simple thing. I just want to get an idea of how it feels. Heard so many good things.

Got out of the Russ Pitt and Susan Arendt panel for mental health later than I I wanted and barely made it in line for giantbomb. Would have felt extremely rude just walking out. These giant Bomb guys are popular. Got to be second row for the 404 at least.
Oculus is at the Intel booth, Elite Dangerous booth and the university of Louisiana booth(?) on one of the indie rows.
Everybody was ready for the line to open and zerg rushed it. There was no order, OTSS!
The enforcers didn't have a proper line to get in the line, backed up everyone behind the tape and then opened the doors, causing a mini stampede of hundreds of people funneling into one entrance.

Guy at elite dangerous booth said they would have 3-4 more occulus stations tomorrow. Only had 1 today sadly.
