Not sure where you are but here (Canada) $30 seems to be the standard even for new games, unless there's a special promotion, then sometimes they give $40 back.

Am I reading his post wrong? Griss doesn't seem to be the one spoiling the game from what I read, that was someone else, and even then it wasn't that specific. Also backseat modding isn't looked upon that favorably either

They will get a lot of copies back over the weekend, so that price may plummet by next week unless a special happens. lol

Not sure. We have a couple of GS employees on here who may be able to chime in.

Still it would be odd, the game really isn't that much shorter than a lot of other similar types. I don't think it's special enough that they need to worry about making an exception in terms of trade-in value.

They got used to the $40 buy backs during the holidays. It was never a permanent thing. That $30 will drop to $20 in two weeks. lol Dying Light, Evolve, and all recent releases were $30 for trade. Others can be more depending on supply/demand. There will no shortage of supply for The Order. They know this.

I have this game preordered and paid off but now I am getting cold feet. I don't know if I can justify the asking price for the one time I'll sit down and play through it :/.

I agree in some cases.

I think they could have been way more creative with the way you approach gunplay, though. I don't have any ideas of how. I guess that's the problem.

The visuals and overall atmosphere calls for something less generic, imo.

YYYYUUUUPPPppp. Super generic. Already have it preloaded, so o well. It is undeniably gorgeous though. Though, too much "film noise" imo.

Yeah that Bridge fight video really puts me off. Nothing about it looks interesting nor original. I will probably play the game at some point just for the graphix but I am starting to understand why they put so little gameplay in the game. It just doesn't look fun.

What I understood from readming impressions here RAD underused weapons like thermite rifle maybe thats the case

Thanks Blim. Those graphics are just incredible. Very happy we have got here. Gameplay seems fairly standard TPS. I am fine with that for their original first console game. Most other things look on point

Seriously sad that the gameplay itself is getting mediocre ratings . Especially the ai I really wanted this to be sonys gears of war (solid 3rd person shooter ) .

I can live with the short campaign and no multi (though it has to be improved in a sequel) , but if the core gameplay is just average then that's a deal breaker .

Will probably share with a mate and go half price just because I need to see these gfx on my tv.

That bridge fight Gamersyde clip is exactly what I was hoping for. Linear the way I like linear- yes you gotta get through this bridge but there are a number of different paths to take (left, right, center, or a mixture) to do it.

Sick and tired of these Victorian era steampunk shooters with graphics that look like CGI and excellent sound effects and electric guns.

But really dude "boring as hell" is pretty harsh.
