For anyone trying to get into RE6, this post is essential. Don't even try playing it without reading and understanding this first, I'm serious.
Simplest piece of advice? RE6 does not play like a cover shooter, it plays like Vanquish.

Just pre ordered Revelations 2. I've played 4,5, and Revelations 1 so far. I bought REmake but haven't got very deep I think. I've tried getting into RE6 but can't for some reason. I'll try again but something wasn't jiving with me. I'll definitely start RE2 one of these days but hopefully by the time I get around to seriously considering playing it, Capcom will have already announced a remake.

Just pre-ordered as well. I'll get enjoyment out of it. Since REmake was rereleased I've been playing the old games. Just finished 2 and playing through 3 now.

I played a lot of Re6 when it came out. After I came back to it after awhile I didn't like it as much.it's ok but I have issues with it.

Well it's not 100% sure but I do think too the stuff they teased outside the heli is snow and not stars lol.

It's the most interesting but it has a lot of problems.

Since Im an avid FC2 fan, for everyone wondering why they should play this game internet seems to hate over the ones internet loves:

Gunplay. FC2 has much better weapon handling than its successors. I hoped FC4 would improve in this aspect, but no.

Weapons. Weapons in FC2 are fun, more diverse and imo have better balance, as upgrades kinda ruin the balance in the next games. Want to be silent sniper? Take the dart rifle. But it has only 8 bullets and breaks down easily. Want to obliterate everything on your way? Usas-12 full automatic shotgun is for you. But it is also kinda fragile. And so on.

No minimap. This is one of my biggest gripes with the next games. Game loses immersion and you're running around looking at the minimap. 4 added the option to remove it, but some missions were tied to the minimap, which was a bummer. Search this area. What area? The one on your minimap. Oh.

Less collectible junk. In 2, all you could collect were diamonds(which were usually well hidden and sometimes needed some clever thinking) and tapes(there were 7-8 I think). Thats it.

No mission gating. Want to leave the mission area to wait for the nightfall and get new shiny guns? Go ahead.

In game map and gps. Instead of going to a slow menu, you pull up a in game map to see where you are. Brilliant.

Better overall story.

Immersion. With no minimap and blinking objectives the game does a much better job at immersing you into the game.Health and ammo show up only when you need them to.

There's much more but you get the overall jest. FC2 was a great open-world FPS with great ideas and concepts that had some minor annoyances, but instead of fixing those Ubisoft went full Ubisoft and turned it into a Assassins Creed with guns, catering to the casual audience.

You're quite right. I've got my guard up with her. I'm no longer the naive idiot I was when I was crazy about her.

As someone who went through a similar situation i can agree that this helps a lot. With time eventually the pain will go away. Trust me.

Not that you are directly asking for advice, but I would agree with Death Metalist and simply do what you feel without getting too committed into something long term. Let yourself feel free to date, since you are more than able to do so, and go ahead and see where either one goes. Use caution with the super hot chick though, since despite her saying she's grown up, remember "old habits die hard" so keep that in mind if you pursue her.

Sorry to hear about that. My last breakup was tough too (there was another guy involved for me as well). As far as the girls go, seems like you're in a somewhat similar position for both of them since you don't know either one well. If FC2 was expanded on in later games, it would be the GOAT FPS. Unfortunately ubisoft turned it into AC. I prefer FC2's style over the other games but I just think 4 is a better overall game even with all the Ubi BS.

- A great story with interesting cutscenes - great for both newcomers and veterans. Less exposition than MGS4.

- Varied Side Ops, with interesting stories and objectives and great items to unlock. Funny and creative Extra Ops, if any.

Both these things for me will make me a happy dawg.

- Football/Soccer mini-game (just rip off PES )
- Monthly birthday parties

Kojima constantly wants things as real as possible. In the port a potty trailer for example, he wants that water comes out when you shoot it, on top of it. No worries. Swimming is in.

Not sure if I'm in the minority with this, but I really loved the fact that you are building your own base in Peace Walker (which made Ground Zeroes' ending truly spectacular because they fuck up your home that you have spent hours building) and I hope that MGSV will go steps beyond that; maybe some sidemissions on the base itself, more ways to construct stuff, an optional mission mode that is available between story missions etc.

I would say, it's safe to say yes. Swimming was featured since MGS2, except Peace Walker but that was due PSP limits.
