LTTP: Rhythm Heaven Fever

Me and my GF are playing through it right now actually! She teaches dance so she's obsessed, says she's going to be showing all her students. She's better at it than I.

Is there a delay with the wiimote? I swear, it seems way harder than the DS version. OP definitely get the DS version.

Also, I can't tell what the criteria for passing some of these are. It seems like I'll be doing fine and get a Try Again, and then I'll play through some other game and feel like I did terribly and get an OK. What's up with that?

I managed to perfect all the games in Rhythm Heaven DS, but I cannot perfect Remix 10 in this game for the life of me. It's the last game I need to perfect too!

Perfecting Remix 10 will be the death of me.

There are more games in the Wii version that throw me off than in the previous two combined, but that doesn't stop me from singing along to the remixes every once in a while that I play this game.

The best rhythm game series around. Crossing my fingers that we get the 3DS installment.

Play the original GBA version if you ever have the chance. It's wonderful.

i don't like the touch screen controls as much. i want a wii u sequel that you play with the Wii remote again.

they should put the gba game on wii u VC.

if you don't have a shit eating grin on your face when you play the first level of this game then i don't want to talk about video games with you ever.

Love this game! Flock step and the wrestler ones are my favorite. Squawking in my head all day long. I tried the DS one but it was a bit too hard for me, no matter how many times I had to *aww* try again.

Also, this is one of the few games where screwing up and failing results in a funnier experience.

the cards at the end when you lose are fucking hysterical sometimes. or even when you win.

i like the one with the flying octopus that is so fucking out there and weird that they just give up explaining it to you in the tutorial.

IMO the DS game much better than Fever. Far better music, more memorable characters, tapping and flicking is more engaging than button presses etc.

But I still enjoyed Fever.

it might be "more engaging" but it's also less precise. nothing beats buttons for rhythm games.

I've perfected everything except the final remix, and had fun doing it, moreso than Fever.

I'm not going to argue with you about buttons being more precise because that's irrelevant to me as far as Rhythm Heaven goes. The tapping and flicking for Rhythm Heaven DS works perfectly fine and I felt considerably more involved with each minigame's visual action than I ever did in Fever.

When I picked up this game during launch, apparently I was the only one that pre-ordered it. When I got home, my brother and I marathoned through the game in one go and finished it. It was such a satisfying time playing since we both play piano and had an easy time getting the rhythm of the songs. But yes, even we couldn't understand the timing for love rap. If you ever do get a chance to play the DS game, the music is just as great as the Wii one.

For your enjoyment though, here is a concert featuring some of the music from Rhythm Heaven for the DS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9u6zvbrAl7I

It probably took me as many hours as everything else combined lol

Rhythm Heaven and DJ Max Portable are my 2 favourite rhythm franchises. Glad at least the former aint dead.

I liked this game when I played it, but I ended up not playing it much after I cleared all of the games. I think I'm just sick of the series or something. Or I was at that point. Maybe a new handheld one would be great.
the fish are easy tho

now bossa nova... that's the worst

Bossa Nova is the best.

So I'm guessing you miss the touch controls.

I'm glad this is getting a 3DS semi sequel, although I still want a proper WarioWare sequel as well. These types of games are great on portables.

Missed out this game. I hope Nintendo bring re-release this to wii u. I heard lot of good things about this game.
You can easily find this game at any Walmart for cheap.

There's 30 new games & 70 remakes on the 3DS game, it's a true sequel & then some.

This game is what made me believe that there are games that exist only because nintendo exists. No one else is going to make something as mind blowing and amazingly fun, crisp and smooth as this game. I didn't believe in Nintendo Magic (tm) till this game. I still despise their hw, but they really are the best software house by a huge margin. And for that i'm thankful they're still around. Hyped for the 3ds release even tho i absolutely despise the hardware.

Glad you feel that way despite your dislike for Nintendo hardware.

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own
This game is fantastic, my favorite is the dog and cat playing badmitton in airplanes.
My only wish is that they had put it as dual audio, I enjoy the engrish and also I just enjoy the lyrical songs in japanese more.

It would be nice, but I prefer the English versions of the Rhythm Heaven Fever vocal songs anyway.
