Oh, I'm sure Kojima Productions/ Konami wouldn't try to tease their audience and fuel wild speculation.

It's not like they did the whole Ground Zeroes/ The Phantom Pain Joachim Morgan (?) in bandages thing.

It's getting predictable .

God damm it, cmon man, the hell with all this suspense, is there any other industry where they tease their audience, their consumers, their clients?

Im sorry about the off topic, but i mean cmon, you dont see movies with all this secrets about release dates or if they are doing the movie or not, its f ridiculous, i know games must generate hype but this is too much, i mean, star wars was announced like 2 years ago to be released in this christmas, can you imagine being all this time speculating if they were doing a new star wars or even more stupid, disney keep teasing you with cutscenes and dont announce a release date? And were talking here about millions of dollars of investment!

I can't wait for Platinum to go "To celebrate the second anniversary of Metal Gear Rising, we are announcing the second installment in the series!"

You know, I think they knew that 2 would get the fans all hyped up and they were laughing their asses off in Japan.

But I would not be surprised if they actually have the sequel in the planning and that this is some kind of trolling tease. Metal Gear is the staple series to troll people during announcements/teasers, so it would be fitting.

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
Second rule of nature is you don't talk about the second rule of nature.

What a horrible cover-up lol

"Yeah we just made this non-descriptive animation with a big 2 and a PS4 logo to celebrate this lastgen game's 2 year anniversary a couple of weeks in advance"

Sure, put a 2nd anniversary of some game in a gameshow reel containing new games.

They're pulling a Hideo. At least they sort of admitted its their font.

If this is true then developers truly have zero idea of how gaming enthusiasts work. How could we not come to the conclusion this was gonna be a MGR2 tease instead of an anniversary (which is completely meaningless btw). Think before you show something like this devs. That said, it really does reek of cover-up, so I'm still getting excited for e3's reveal of MGR2!!

that puzzling face
Can just imagine E3

"MGR2 Reveal!"

Font is completely different

"See? This is what the actual MGR2's 2 looks like, and it's different from that other 2 that got people so hyped up"
