Why are there even sweatpants when there are the infinitely superior yoga pants. Burn all sweatpants and start saving marriages today.

Why do people jump at the idea that someone should try to look good even around the house. Both partners should be interested in continuously looking the part IMO

He wasn't alone.
pajama pants are so much more comfy for lounging. I am weeding out all sweat pants from my youth currently. I have one black pair left. Once that pair goes theirs no turning back.

She's never seen Japanese sweat pants. They adjust to your natural body oils and find a ph balance to create the finest "sheen" spots you have ever seen.

I just went out at 1am to get Coffee from Tim Hortons while wearing sweatpants.

Sweatpants are the least of my concerns.

Eva Mendes is full of shit. If wearing sweatpants is costing you your marriage, your marriage wasn't all that great to begin with. My girl walks around in sweatpants around the house and I love it. It's a tight fit at the back so that booty pops like dayum.

I guess it's possible that sweatpants end relationships. Judging on how shallow some relationships are, nothing surprises me.
People are stupid.

I wear those cheap $8 sweat pants from Walmart + expensive running shoes like Asic Kayanos = Godlike comfort.

I love sweatpants. Sadly , i rarely use it outside of the house. Just on special lazy days.

The name is lovely. And it looks even better.

They're very comfy and free-moving~

Haven't sweatpants been replaced by yoga pants or am I just going crazy?

Yoga pants are great if you're moving around/active or outside (they just look tidier), but when you want to slob at home? Sweatpants, hospital pants, or no pants.

A jokey comment taken too seriously, but still technically representative of a real issue. The concept that a wife needs to prioritize attractiveness above anything else is scummy and still prevalent - but this might not be the right moment to try and make a point about it.

Uh shouldn't both women and men take care of themselves appearance wise? You don't want to dress like a slob...

What is the difference between yoga and sweat pants anyway?

Just tightness.

Actual yoga pants are supposed to be lightweight and rather baggy. The yoga pants most people here are referring to are just tights that are being marketed as "yoga" pants.

My man. I wear PJs all the time at home. Get in from work, PJ bottoms on. Comfort is my top priority and skinny jeans aren't comfy to lounge in. I bought my bf lounge pants so he didn't feel left out. And it in no way affects our sex life, if he wants a shag all he has to do is pull em off me. Although admittedly it's usually me doing the initiating.

That's give up on life pants in a nutshell. I just don't like em.

P.S. How can they represent that I've "given up on life" if I've been wearing them for as long as I can remember?
How can I "give up" on something that I hadn't even started? >.>

P.P.S. "Adventure Time" is a horrible show with a disgusting art style anyway :þ

A great philosopher once said: Sweat pants, hair tied, chillin' with no make-up on. That's when you're the prettiest, I hope that you don't take it wrong.

I believe there is some truth to these word. Sweatpants are love, sweatpants are life.

^ Pretty much agree with everything here. I started wearing sweatpants all the time about 20 years ago because they feel so much more comfortable and nicer/smoother than jeans. If it wasn't for GAF, I wouldn't have known that wearing sweatpants is apparently frowned upon... Not like anything would change anyway because sweatpants are too comfortable for me to give up. I care more about my comfort than how society views my appearance so unless I find jeans that magically feel better than sweatpants it won't change anytime soon.

I don't think it's the sweatpants themselves insomuch as it's not putting an effort into making yourself attractive for your spouse. It's the idea that people let themselves go and just don't care anymore.

Sweatpants outside your house unless you're going to or returning from exercising are signs you don't respect yourself anymore.
