Only if you play by their very strict and specific rules, which includes only covering games specifically mentioned on their whitelist. And the revenue split doesn't go through the default YouTube systems, but rather Nintendo's external one which brings more middle men into the process deducting even more money than usual. All in all, it's crap value compared to the deals other companies have in place, and it's less of a headache to just ignore Nintendo products completely.
Giantbomb is owned by corporate now, so it wouldn't make a difference.

If this was an original piece featuring Nintendo games (AVGN like series, comedy sketch, etc) then I'd understand. This is them just playing the game.

Well, it's not exactly like Mario Party is an obscure, unknown IP.
Nintendo isn't in a position to be losing any of their potential audience right now. They don't get to assume anything. They need eyes on their games.

Totalbiscuit's podcast got flagged for showing a Pokemon trailer that one time.
Which is BS since trailers are fair use. That is why you see movie reviews use only trailer footage.
It is a shame, I would have not minded Joe reviewing Nintendo games.

plus the coverage and free advertisement of the game to his 2 million subscribers (don't know how many of them watched the video though)

They might, they might not. The important fact is that those people who watch Angry Joe, won't see Nintendo products, they won't see Joe having fun with them, if they are good, if those people trust Joe more than the average awesome ad on TV you just lossed a more efficient tool for a few pennies.
They know Nintendo, but they know how fun is Mario Party 10 and Wii U?
Looking at the sales of the console we can easily extrapolate the answer.

2 million "potential" sales? I doubt it wasn't even close to that.
Considering the bulk of Joe's audience they probably don't even want to play a Nintendo game.

Joe takes them down because it's not going to make him any money.
I've had over a dozen videos hit with Content ID, but I leave them up.

You should watch his videos to see how ignorant this really is. Most of his videos have zero anger in them. When he does do an 'angry' video he actually has good reasoning and criticisms to go with his rant.
Also the Nintendo defence force in this thread is quite sickening to read.
