lol, the dude didn't say, "Please release Ori on PS4." He's asking their next game be multiplat.

I haven't played Ori yet, but heard good things. Too many awesome indie games coming out. I'll put this on my wishlist on Steam. :)

I am deeply sorry for insinuating that I was port begging, of which I genuinely wasn't.

Bish, have mercy.

Why are you guys letting that one shitty post ruin the thread? Get on with it.

Congrats on the success! Ori is such a great game. I can't wait for more from the team.

Ah no, I know that Ori is a Microsoft IP.

But Moon aren't developing exclusively for Microsoft, are they?

If Microsoft keeps funding their games, which is increasingly likely given Ori's success, I don't see why they wouldn't?

judging fromk the posts I see that it's xbox only... is there a pc version or is it only on xbox?

On PC as well.

You're right, my bad.

What has my avatar got to do with anything?

Ori sounds excellent so why wouldn't I like to see Moon release a multiplatform game.

Next time, try harder darling.

SMH, not even 50 posts before port begging.

OT, good news for them, I'll be sure to buy it myself soon

The truck is being backed up to Moon hopefully. As long as they stay hungry, humble, and take their time they will be great for years. Hats off and well deserved.

Also I dont see anything wrong with asking for their NEXT project to be on PS4.....

It derailed the whole thread....

I don't even own an XB1 or gaming PC and I find it annoying.

Yeah, "please release title on PS4" allows lots of interpretation.

Anyways, glad it was successful. Shout out to that dev saying indie titles don't sell well on XB1.

Haha ok, can we get back on topic so.

By the sounds of that, it looks like Ori 2 is a given.

Good for Xbox peeps.

This is the kind of news I like to read. It's early, but I'm pretty sure Ori and the Blind Forest will be my GotY. I didn't expect to like it quite as much as I did, and now I look forward to all things Moon Studios. Hopefully some of those projects become official sometime soon!

EDIT: LOL at that edit.

Cool

I hope to see more Ori in the future. Maybe guest star in the new Banjo game whenever it's announced? :x

I'm curious of the sales comparison between Ori, Axiom Verge, and Hotline Miami 2. All 3 of them are on multiple platforms, but none are on all of them.

Profitable after a week..? What kind of a tail do these digital games have? Seems to me the bulk of the sales would have happened in the first week especially for a digital only title..

Axiom Verge is currently PS4 only. It's coming to PC and Vita later this year and other platforms likely in 2016.

It'll go on sale and make even more. So this is pretty good

It's a smaller game made by an independent developer with good word of mouth. I imagine it'll have great legs and with sales in the future it should do pretty good numbers. It's on PC too, so I bet we see some good steam sales adding to the numbers as well.

With steam sales/store sales and whatnot, I'd imagine the bigger indie titles have pretty long legs.

And wasn't there a report the game was profitable in the first 24 hours? I suppose that's not an accurate comparison since we don't know the budget of each game, but that is a pretty significant difference.

Great to hear. Looking forward to seeing how they improve in a potential Ori 2 and correct some of the missteps/niggles I have with the original.

Still no mention of the 360 version? I guess it's definitely dead... :(

Ori is definitely the best game I've played all year, and one of my favorites of the last few years.

Man, just thinking about the epic escape sequences makes me want to go back and play it again. So unbelievably gorgeous, both visually and from the soundtrack, the story knocked me back with the game's intro, and I loved how all the powerups worked.

Yes, of course, Ori isn't going anywhere.
Oh ok, that message left lot of room for interpretation.

On topic, I really hope they go for that "huge" they are referring to. Hard to imagine what it could be. Haven't played Ori since I lost my nerve when I play escaping parts in platformers. But I love to just watch it being played in Twitch, so beautiful and challenging.

It's not significant without knowing how much each game cost to make.

1 man dev team for Axiom Verge. Big difference right there in budget.

I don't own an Xbox and I only play on Nintendo and Sony platforms, but I still decided to buy this and play on my crappy laptop (I have to play in 720p, though :\ ). Honestly, it's the best £15 I've ever spent on a game. They deserve every penny.

Woah, congratulations to the creators. And I still haven't given them my money... but I plan to, it's only that I'm having too much stuff on my plate right now.

Still waiting for a patch. Disappointed with their time to patch, both Axiom Verge and Bloodborne got patches out faster. Also considering it looks like on the PC some users have put together their own fix/mod for the save while crouching related glitches...
