This'll be my first Witcher game and I'm going in completely fresh. Haven't watched any of the videos and am trying to hold off until release.

I'm beyond excited..I just hope the ps4 version is able to deliver in terms of cloth physics and the weather effects. Game is shaping up to one of the best of this year.

the no loading is going to put games like bloodborne to shame

Popups is very noticeable. Water looks like jelly and trees and foilage have very 2d feel to them. Other than these minors grips it looks absolutely fantastic. Also those ambient sounds. Rain in the forest reminded me of my stay in my village

I think it's fair to wait for the final build to make valid criticisms. Despite anything you are seeing the game looks beautiful

People talk about bouncing trees when a fix could be a very easy parameter change but I can't talk about framerate/streaming problems from a footage that is really near the final build? Ok?

That reminds me, where the heck can you order the season pass if you're buying retail? Have my PS4 preordered at Best Buy but I don't see it anywhere.

:sigh

I wish they would stop hiding them. Getting nervous not seeing them at all this close to launch.

I am expecting it to look similar to what we have seen, only with the foliage density pared back, some reduced effects and a lower framerate. I think I will be pleased, but we shall see.

I guess you are right you aren't the only one noticing it. I take it back what I ve said!

Why are you so negative? Honest question.

Considering the scope this game is trying to achieve, I think a few minor things here and there that will likely be taken care of in the final build or after release is kind of silly to comment on at this point.

I think this is the best looking game in a long time, esp for consoles (even though there has yet to be any real footage, I imagine this is the Gear of War of this generation).

Knowing best buy it won't be available till like a week or so before launch. Or if CDPR gives retailers the go ahead to start selling them.

Seems like the expansion pass is just digital so maybe they just don't have the cards made yet?

CD Projekt Red is a fantastic developer and I trust them, but at what point do we start worrying about the console versions?

We are 3 weeks from launch and nothing

Framerate is my main concern. I'm hoping it holds 30 well.

It just feels like it keeps getting pushed farther and farther back.

Prepare for the same treatment with C2077.

EDIT: At this point, I am expecting some changes to the console version which may not be taken well by console owners.

They mentioned that the stuttering is fixed in another build.

I'd actually wish we got a official comparison video from CDPR highlighting the differences between each version. But that will never happen.

Outside of procedurally generated games, is this the biggest handcrafted world ever in a video game?

Peoples nitpicking little details for the graphics dont quite grasp the size of this monster i think.

This is Witcher 3 map vs GTA V in the top right corner.

With, from what i see, all interiors of every buildings modeled with no loadings.. Its a technical marvel.

Looks artistically gorgeous as expected (even witcher 1 did despite using that ancient neverwinter nights engine)

Why do you care if he's being negative? If you think the game is the best looking game then surely his opinion won't bother you?

Who made that? Scale looks off. You can see individual buildings on Witcher's map but not GTA's.

When have they ever promised it and pushed it back? They've always said "close to release" and recently they said "sometime next week(which will be this week)"

That is not being super negative.

Stuttering is awful, I saw it too and it quite often ends up in the final version of a game. Stuttering isn't some minor thing and it can be a constant bother through the entire playthrough.

But if it is fixed, great! Let's complain further about rubber trees and hypothetical downgrades.
