Also lists the PS3 version for $40.

Just to remind everyone that the PS4 version hasn't been announced yet, even in Japan. A PC version also showed up in the Steam Database a few months ago. This has to be one of the worst kept secrets as of late.

Thanks to salromano for the heads up.

EDIT: Picture in case they remove it from the website.

2nd EDIT: The links are now dead and the release date has been changed to 12/31/2015 for those who placed a pre-order. Makes me thing that the 10/27/2015 date they had was the real release date.

Good to hear, especially seeing the PS3 version at a discount price.

Can't wait to get my hands on it.

October 27th could be a legit date. It's a Tuesday (the day new games come out in the US) and usually when they don't have a date they'll but December 31st as a placeholder.

iirc there was a listing in the steamdb a while back too, so if you want a guaranteed high quality/fps/resolution experience, get that one if it ends up existing.

If the PS3 version is $40 I will probably end up getting that version.

I still don't think that's going to go over well.

Use gamers club unlocked and get the PS4 version for $48. Gcu is better than the employee discount for video games. Not to mention getting rewards points (double the normal amount, no less), where employee purchases get no points when the discount applies.

Games announced at the Tales Festival basically always release have October or November release dates, so it would line up if it gets announced in a few weeks.

They better make it worth $20 more.

My guess is it'll come with the DLC epilogue episode (and maybe people with the PS3 version may have to buy it, it's about $10), alongside running and looking better than the PS3 version.

Good. I was going to skip the game if it only came out on PS3. With the performance issues i was hearing about the original version, in addition to the whole kerfuffle in Japan, i didn't see the need to break out my PS3 for this game.

BUt if its coming to PS4 with 1080p60fps and decent IQ(and the DLC?), i'll bite.

PS4 version will be worth the delay, since they originally said the game would be localized in the first half of the year before the Steam/PS4 stuff appeared.

Same day as Halo 5? Damn it Bamco.....this will be the first time I have been unable to support Tales day one.

I'd rather get the cheaper PS3 version than what will probably just be a qucik upres. I'm just going to end up finishing the game in like four days anyways.

Um... this game is already out in Japan. How is it a lazy port when we know absolutely nothing about it.

People were already calling it lazy when it came out then too IIRC.

Can't wait until this is actually announced and we can see what it looks like. Also guess it means I can finally unplug and put away my PS3 once Yakuza 5 is done. That, Persona 5 and ToZ were the last games I wanted on that system and now that Tales has made the jump it serves little use.

From what little I've heard (since I've been avoiding the main threads for spoilers) the PS3 version has some pretty severe perfomance issues at times.

I'd say they were more constrained by the technical shortfalls of the PS3 given what they wanted to do with the larger zones, etc.

It has framerate issues, but not to the point where I would pay $20 extra for a fix.

That $20 price bump rubs me the wrong way.
Clearly the $20 difference is due to it being bundled with that Tales of Vesperia PS4 port.

It's not happening.

But yeah, Tales of Zestira on the PS4 is basically all but confirmed now. Just need Namco Bandai to come out and officially announce it.
