These alternate costumes would look so much better if the Arkham series didn't have an atrocious art style to begin with. It barely works even with Rocksteady's designs.

I love the games, btw. Just kinda hate the art style.

I disagree. These skins arent great (neither are the source designs) but I think the overall character art is pretty good, its an especially huge step up from AA and AC.

It would have been perfect as a Nightwing skin but it just looks wierd on hulked-out Arkham Bruce. This is just doubling down on the problems with the skin in AC

It would need a Guilty Gear Xrd level of flattening 3D to appear 2D, since the animated Beyond suite is basically a walking shadow with a red logo.

It doesn't play nice with Arkham's default style.

The Batman Beyond one is so much better than the previous attempt. It's what the costume would look like if it was actually created in the Arkham version of the world. It'll be pretty cool to switch to it and fight the Arkham Knight.

What I would like id for them to bring back the BTAS costumes from AC. I loved playing with those costumes, it made feel like I was playing BTAS the game.

Man. The amount of people that would have had to approve this design is mind boggling.


This new Beyond suit isn't the worst, but I really dislike Rocksteady's armor fetish. It bleeds over to all their suit designs, even the default one.

I don't know why it wasn't cel-shaded like the BTAS skin. That skin looked a bit odd, but it was better than what we got/are getting with BB.

If the animated series skins all were on the level of Catwoman's from AC, then we'd be in business.

Agreed, the art design in this is excellent compared to AC/AA. AO was great but I'm not a fan of bulky Bats. I consistently had to switch out the default AC outfit for the Earth Two one.
