If anything, seeing how rough this looks makes me appreciate what CDPR accomplished with TW3.

Here I am excited for ANOTHER Bethesda game even after the dirt they did with Skyrim and how much I loathe that game now.

Please, for me if not for anything else, please let this be a good and deep RPG with a developed world that's interesting to explore. Don't make this Skyrim. *knows deep down it's probably going to be closer to Skyrim than New Vegas*

With that screenshot its pretty obvious that this was developed with cross-gen in mind so its weird to see people here celebrating "no cross gen woo woo" when they evidently just got cancelled along the way. They still affected quite a big parte of development.

Yup thats what i thought. Probably started as a lastgen game, then Crossgen and now maybe Currentgen only.

I'm with this guy. Graphics look good enough (too colorful though though I know I'm in the minority. I liked the toned down colors of previous fallouts, it kinda set the mood). As yes, I would prefer monsters scale by area, not level.

I just hope they took some hints from new Vegas on how to improve fallout. I'm sure Bethesda is doing fallout 4 but that doesn't mean they can't learn from obsidian's take on fallout.

Jesus, some gamers are some of the most self entitled pricks imaginable. I would hate to be on the team that made a game like this, spent years of my life on a project and a screen leaks out, first thing that is repeated on a major gaming forum is how "last gen" it looks.

Absolutely. I almost wish most hardcore gamers took a course in 3D development or game design to understand the kind of work that goes behind the scenes. You can already tell there's a lot of love in the screenshot, and as Brad Bird described animating, "it may all look spontaneous and natural, but every detail was carefully crafted by hand." And no doubt the game is going to be as exciting as the last entries.

No way in hell, Fallout 3 sold a lot more than New Vegas and that is the only indication they need to know their design decisions are valid.

If the game is still the same old cells everywhere separate from interior and exterior (cities with walls with a warp zone called the double door at entrance, houses with no actual windows, etc) I'm out. It's been 10+ years with that tech and we have games like Witcher 3 now. Step your game up Bethesda please!

Yeah I'm going by this train of thought in terms of playing the game or not. As well as Witcher 3 doing no loading screens, the graphical fidelity for that game is insane so hopefully Boston in Fallout 4 looks just as good.
