The french blog BlogPES confirms that the game is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, pc, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and mobile platforms.

So, at least PES 2016 lives on! Interesting to see how they're going to compete with FIFA this year.

2015 was a good football game, hope they can improve things and continue going in the right direction.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Probably the last one before it becomes a pachinko-only franchise.

Yeah, because they aren't allowed to optimise it or something silly like that...Haven't heard anything since, but MS were up for working with Konami to improve the engines performance.

So maybe they get it to 900p? I just doubt we'll see 1080p 60 fps with Fox Engine because of deferred rendering.

Will it have female players though? That's apparently the most important feature for some on gaf...

Good to see them still doing traditional PES 2016, considering some rumours floating around and state Konami is in.

Still probably gonna go with FIFA (but rather 17, engine rework please) due to friends and licences but nevertheless.

Isn't pes selling bad nowadays

Yeah, but I can see a way back for PES, as long as they start getting the small things right. It can't compete in licenses, but has FIFA beat in gameplay, so start improving things elsewhere.

Better looking, quicker menus
More music (10-12 tracks doesn't cut it)
Crowds - If I'm playing as a lower league team (Alcorcon are my choice), show sparse crowds that get larger with success and vice versa.
Commentary - Both FIFA and PES have stagnated in this, but FIFA at least has more variety. It's just embarrassing in PES when I'm told I might regret a miss...when I'm 5-0 up.

I love PES. I skipped 2015 but I still play 2014 on PS3 regularly.

Will hop back on with 2016 on PS4. Choo choo.

PES15 was a good football game, much better than Fifa15.

Lets hope they keep the momentum up for PES16.

My only gripe, is the online side of the game. Fifa does it right, I hope PES can get it right this time around.

This is currently the only Konami release I really care about.

Looking forward to the reveal. Region free multiplayer is what I'm really hoping for.

yeah lets hope they only release one copy worldwide. I can't play my mate who has a copy of Winning Eleven, whereas I have a copy of PES

I miss playing football in my console

The Wii U not having many third party releases doesn't bother me-- except the absence of Pro Evo, which I'd rather play on my couch than in front of my PC.

Then again, I'm huge into the edit mode (I make my home town team, Minnesota United, in every version of the game-- complete with all of the player faces and stats. Then I play Master League with them!), and edit mode is fantastic on PC, since you can easily import images and such.

I hope the PC version has the latest engine this time around though.

Please don't fuck up the pc version of the game (again) and allowatleast 7p (or komore) locally on one pc. It's annoying that Fifa and PES do not allow that many (but 7p on ps3) and that's freaking stupid, pc is nowadays THE multiplayer gaming machine because you can use almost anything as a pad.

On one hand PES 15 was good step in a good direction and gameplay and I want to try PES 16 (and I lost like 10M coins in FIFA 15 FUT because of market caps so I am terribly angry with EA) on the other hand Fuck Konami. Cross gen isn't an issue because sport games are always the last in abandon the previous gen.

Decisions decisions.

Bought 2015, as a farewell to Kojipro, and I'm done with Konami after MGSV, but I hope they don't go too far with micro transactions for those that get this, especially with the f2p rumours.

I bought FIFA 15 and PES 15 this year, having not played a PES since 5.

Haven't touched FIFA in months, and PES still gets a run every other night. Clunky menus, limited licenses, no option files (PS4)... Still a far better game than FIFA's offering.

I love MGS too, but I'm not turning my back on PES over it. Also, get that "lol womens football" shit outta this thread.

PES2015 shits all over FIFA of any year, age or generation. Even tho the options and "freemium" feel of 2015, I'll still buy 2016 as somehow they captured the correct essence of futbol.
