I think E3 is not the spot for a game like Last Guardian. If not in E3, surely it will be shown @ the next TGS.

It's E3 or nothing. The game is too big for other events. It was officially shown at E3 in 2009 and it will be officially unveiled at E3.. 2015. The fact Sony is light on new first party content this fall leads me to believe that this is the perfect time to introduce the game and not have other exclusives eating its mind share.

Part of me is kinda glad I never played beyond good and evil, ICO, SOTC, half life and shenmue.

I have nothing to lose or gain.

If anything it makes me think team ICO is inept since I have no experience with any of their games, and I am just blown away Shuhei keeps saying "its not cancelled, its still in development" Its almost been 6 years since that game was announced.

Even if Sony still have no idea when the game is going to be finished how hard would it be to give us a new trailer? It's been 6 years since we last saw the game, they must surely have something new they can show us by now.

They could instantly beat Microsoft's show by releasing a new trailer and be the talk of E3. It's what they need to counteract what they admit themselves is a weak 2015 for their first-party studios.
