How's the controller different?
And it can now be updated wirelessly.
There's a USB on the sideThat is a great addition since with the old controller you have to connect it with a USB port to the back of the XBOX ONE which is really a pain in the butt..waiting for Best Buy to have it available for pre order since I think accessories work with GCU

"We’re also pleased to announce that starting today, the $349 USD price on all standard Xbox One 500GB consoles will be permanent in the United States and select regions."
Not everyone knows how to use them, ie rolling your index finger between trigger and bumper. People have been trying to press the bumpers from way up top and complaining that they are too stiff. I personally have had no problems with the current bumpers, I do like that the new ones don't click though.
Yes, but now we can tell Pachter he was wrong.Wasn't that always the case minus one month (Jan)? I may be wrong.
- New 3.5mm headphone jack built in
- Revised bumpers making them easier to trigger along the whole length, plus not so "clicky"
- Revisions to the controller firmware (unsure if this affects original controller), with give you volume controls in an app in addition to on your headphones/headset itself.
They mentioned audio quality enhancements too. I hope this means no more clicking, popping and dropped sounds when using a headset. I have he Xbox headset and this gets annoying. (yes my controllers are updated)

also mic monitoring.
What does that do?
They won't bundle Halo, it will sell on its own. Tomb Raider is, I'm guessing, going to be a big bundle game. Could be wrong, but that seems like the best use of their exclusivity.I hope MS drops a Halo 5 bundle this fall with 1TB for $400

Of course. I mean replacing MCC with Tomb Raider as the go to bundle game. Limited Edition =/= Bundled game. They sort of confirmed that there is going to be a limited edition Halo 5 console.
Ah. Thanks.Mic Monitor - Hear your own voice in the headset to avoid shouting.
Previously you had to buy an exclusive adapter by Turtle Beach for this feature:

Does it include this or do we just want it to?also mic monitoring.

Larry, turn your Lumia sideways when you film a video.

Why is the front panel still glossy?

Note: This was shot in Periscope which only works in portrait mode - that's why it's this way. Sorry.
They finally fixed the bumpers in the new controller.....they were driving me mad !!!!!

Allows you to hear your own voice from within the headset. This is useful for helping to avoid the feeling of needing to shout for other players to hear you
I agree. I don't like feeling around, searching for the controls on a wire and I think putting them right there close to you thumbs, easily found in the dark was great. The big thing with this is that my $25 adapter can be used on this. I like having the audio controls where I can adjust them on the fly, so that's good.
