You know, if you can find these posts, why can't you find the others related to them?

I've already gave you a timeline on FF7. Where is that game that I've already told you isn't coming until SE are done with FFXV and FFXVI? The Capcom exclusive already came, it's called Street Fighter V. I told you that game was in development in 2013, you know, when Ono was saying they have funding problems (which should have been a dead giveaway, but hey, money does appear magically). The KH game that wasn't KH3 was a PS4 remaster, and it didn't happen (well, it's going to happen and doesn't take a genius to figure that out, but obviously not in 2014).

Sega is up this year with one title as it stands, which I've already said. Warner Bros. will be soon-ish. Sly, we kind of have a movie, and some other issues. Use your own brain here as to when you can kind of expect some information for that. I told you about this game before the PS4 even launched, and part of the reason why I did was because of the alternative media push happening with IP, including Sly. JRPGs, already answered too many times.

As for the linked post, that's from six months ago, and it says right there it's for titles being announced through 2015/2016. One of them's come and gone.

Games aren't made overnight. Who'd have thought? Clearly, not Sony, since we've only had to delay about a dozen.

Looks like Verendus was referring to a new Virtua Fighter, rather than Shenmue? Sony seems very interested in capturing the FGC mindshare, so...

But serious: I doubt we will ever get the third entry in the series.

Well, SM2 was exclusive to the original XB, wasn't it?

But I doubt that'll happen, since it's a Japanese-developed game and I'd like to think nobody would be dumb enough to lock a game like that to a platform that doesn't sell in Japan. Sony would be the more logical moneyhatter, since it fits their recent strategy of throwing money at niche/mid-tier Japanese games that the hardcore crowd wants to see.

Hehe. I hear ya man. I just love this series and if they are going to remaster it, go full out with it. I mean a HD port of a Dreamcast games would require a lot of work, might as well knock it out of the park while doing it.

On Dreamcast as well.

And yeah, Sony would be more logical considering it's doing better in Japan. But then again, if someone was funding it, then it wouldn't matter.

Guys don't do this to yourself. It happens every year and then every year everyone curses Sega. There's the perfectly good Yakuza series right in front of your faces. Stop neglecting that series!

Yeah we do. I see why some say "Shenmue, WTF, Really, you want that shit?". But to me, it is fantastic.

Personally, I say WTF to all those wanting "The Last Guardian" I played the other games made by the dev and I think they were horrid, but I know there are fans that have the same emotional tie to wanting a sequel from them like I do with Shenmue 3. So, here is hoping that both games are announced so everyone can die happy! :)

One of my best friends and I were just explaining the awesomeness of Shenmue to his nine-year-old son yesterday while at the reception for my brother's wedding. He had asked me what my favorite video game was.

It was number one on #buildthelist.

AND we had some gaffers that were chatting with Boyes and Gio Corsi at PSX.
They asked what was number one on the list and they answered that it was Shenmue, but it's hard to do it with alot of legal problems.

Maybe that stuff is solved.

It's possible MS got this as a nod to the hardcore though. But I don't know. With the whole Sony #buildingTheList and Boyes even mentioning it at PSX. I would be shocked if Sony didn't lock this up. If it's true.
