Yeah it wouldn't make any business sense anyway. BC is useful for manufacturers to extend the library of a new console and give it more appeal for new buyers, but this far into the generation it would only take the gamers' focus away from the new releases.
Microsoft wants us to pay for new Xbox One games, not dust off our old 360 DVDs.

I would be happier with XBLA BC more than disc-based. The 360 has such a great catalogue there, it'd be a shame to let it go to waste

Hope you get it working but if not the replacement process wasn't too bad for me. It was hard not having my Kinect for a few days.

On a side note I had my Xbox lock up for the first time today. Anyone else experience this? I had to hard reset it.

I'm not running Win10 on anything, so I hope that isn't the biggest thing, lol.

I only have Windows 10 running on VMs and the video playback through those VMs isn't great so if they release the streaming feature into the Preview Program I probablly won't be able to test that out.

I hope they announce background audio (without the need for something snapped to the screen) in the July Preview as that is the biggest feature I used a lot on the 360 that is missing on the Xbox One.

Yeah it happened to me too and going back to searching for the remote felt like living in a long dead past.

Yes, you'll have to register the console so it'll get preview updates.

I suspect with this potentially being a huge update it may take a long time as well. I would be curious to know if anyone has gotten accepte din the last few days.

Well Phil said they'd have more at the daily briefing tonight so I suspect they'll flip switch on the next wave of July's preview then. The ground work is in place it seems.
