Most of them yes. Some take DDR3. Don't know why that would be the reason to switch though, differences are barely measurable.

The prices are different

DDR4 was so much more expensive than 3 when I switched mobos/procs. I could only justify buying a measily 16 gb. If I had been getting ddr4 I definitely would have tried for 64 or at least 32 bare minimum.

The game worked perfectly for me on win7 64bit, but I read that it used to crash on Win8 (not sure if this got fixed). The game itself is fun and 30 fps cap aside I didn't have performance problems, although it isn't exactly a 60&#8364; worth kind of game. The portable roots in the game design can be felt with the small zones but the action kinda makes up for it.

I'm both excited and scared. Excited because I liked the first game, scared because I never managed to finish the first game as I stopped on a difficult boss fight (which I think was optional... or maybe not) that I just couldn't defeat.

God damn, Microsoft and the cross buy only being DLC and the like, rather than full games. I think, if the games were cross buy, they could probably see a growing support from the pc gaming community, but no one wants to buy something twice for a load more than the average steam game on sale.

It won't be canned now, at least not SC. They've invested too much resources into it, and they had plenty of opportunities to can it during it's localization.

I don't know if there's any correlation between using STEAM/being in this community and having a flawed outlook on various aspects of life, but I just wanted to send out an open request to everyone here to please put more thought into what you post on GAF about non-STEAM issues.

Naw, all it takes is 2 seconds to realize that his comparisons are either naive in their most harmless terms or incredibly racist if you read between the lines and strip him of the benefit of the doubt.

he would follow up examples and explanations brought to him with his own anecdotes and continue to try and defend his horrible opinion instead of hearing out the people trying to appeal to him in a reasonable (and frankly too patient) manner. just reeked of someone seeking affirmation of their awful views instead of seeking to inform him or herself about a subject and, thus, better themself and hopefully those around them in the process.

But I digress. Hopefully he'll come out the other end a better person or at least if he continues to keep his views to not voice them if they're going to continue to be of the ill informed and fear mongering variety.

I have finished Her Story today and I really like the game. There have been about three ahah moments in which things click together, and a lot of thinking and reading afterwards.

i dunno, maybe her different personalities are like costumes she wears, like the blonde wig and stuff and that extends to the bruises, tattoo, etc. there's a physical thing that accompanies the personality change, and she goes through it "deliberately", it's just part of the process of shifting personalities

also my other big theory is this being like a big con thing she created to avoid prison. just like a very elaborate insanity plead heh

Not a misunderstanding, but I think a lot of people took it in a vein he didn't mean it in. Yeah, Freedom put it pretty well, as did you in your post in that thread. I think Shadow got led to believe that that is something that's rampant and it isn't.

Ground Zeroes is a relatively short title, story wise. I got it free on One, finished within about 3 hours. Not even an attempted speed run.

Are you just not feeling playing a game right now? That's the predicament I'm in. I installed a good part of my library recently but can't bring myself to launch any.

Because the game flopped very badly. Less than 1 million sales on all 3 platforms in the first year. They even had to cancel the dlc they were working on. Quite a shame.
