Was checkin' 'em out on Amazon. Surprised they're actually pretty affordable.
I got those claw weapons now that double as guns...I think the one I got is called the Gill Grapplers?
Awesome as hell. I noticed if I run at a right angle and tap the fire button, I can shoot while running.
I haven't touched the Party Members' LBX at all so far...should I? The default ones seem good enough.
Is there an easy way to get money/medals in chapter 2? I wasted a ton trying to get achilles 2 parts
So my US 3DS is charging so I decided to play LBW 2 (Danball Senki W) on my Japanese 3DS. Now since I actually played that one first I never really appreciated how much it improves from the first game. The battle system has been tweaked. Dual wielding has a new moveset and you can equip different weapons of the same kind (like you can equip two different swords unlike the first game where you only dual wield the same swords). You can recover in midair if you're knocked back. The UI is sleeker.
Speaking of UI the menus have improved making customization a breeze. And the menus are faster and snappier. You can actually switch your LBX to other party members!
Now I'm not saying to people curious about getting into this series to wait for the second since the first is an excellent game in and of itself. But if we do get the sequel (I hope we do) it'll be worth it.
Well if they want the sequel than this game has to sell well and for that to happen people have to jump into this game.
And I still suggest it will sell well, just not to the GAF crowd.

What the what? I welcome information about the sequel - it's good to know that this series which I'm investing in does in fact see marked improvements from release to release.Dont really see why you are telling folks this as the standard GAF reaction is for people to just sit around like idiots and "expect" the second game to come out instead of buying the first one. lol
Eh, not as bad as people I've met IRL who pirate a game - soon after it came out, too - and then later on bitch that the game didn't get a sequel or that its sequel didn't get localized or whatever.Dont really see why you are telling folks this as the standard GAF reaction is for people to just sit around like idiots and "expect" the second game to come out instead of buying the first one. lol
You level up the ability of that type of weapon. The actual weapon itself does not level up. You want to do that since you get Sp. Attack Routines for that weapon. There are dungeons! Guess I wasn't sure what to expect with this game, but that's pretty cool.
So, question: I see that your weapons seems to level up. I found a sword in the first dungeon and switched over to it. I'm wondering, is it the actual weapon that levels up -- each individual one -- or is it more of your ability with that type of weapon that levels up? And what effect does leveling up either the weapon or weapon skill have. since your character and LBX parts also level up. Tons of leveling up in this game.
Yeah the general consensus here and everywhere that I'm aware of is that the game is fantastic and surprising people. So everybody is loving this game?
I am torn and on the fence. I owned both Custom Robo games (GameCube and DS) and enjoyed them for the battle (didn't like the Pokemon walk around story part). I really liked the latest Monster Hunter but don't have the time to invest in that to get uber great and none of my friends have a 3DS.
So, is the combat enough to engage me, even if I solo? I take it there isn't just a fight, fight, fight portion?

I see. Thanks. What about with your LBX. Do both the armor and the actual LBX level up, or just the armor, and does leveling up the armor increase defense, or does it also increase weapon damage?
Also, is there a way to set the guns as the default weapon at the beginning of battles? It doesn't seem to make sense that the melee weapons are always the default at the beginning of battles, since you're always starting battles far apart from your opponent(s).
De-equip your stuff, then put your gun in Set A.I see. Thanks. What about with your LBX. Do both the armor and the actual LBX level up, or just the armor, and does leveling up the armor increase defense, or does it also increase weapon damage?

Armor parts have LP and defense. The parts themselves gain exp which increases their AC which in turn increases their LP and defense.I see. Thanks. What about with your LBX. Inazuma Eleven 2 has been translated for years. Where's that North American version? lolWell if they want the sequel than this game has to sell well and for that to happen people have to jump into this game.
I believe that just increases overall attack and defense, not sure. It also increases the custom core board in size.I see. Your character (Van, etc.) levels also increase LP, right?

Because this is a port of a PSP game.I'm liking it so far lots but why on earth is there no online multiplayer!?
I listened the Tiny Cart's podcast describe this as Persona + Virtual On and the money slipped straight out of my wallet and flew right into GameStop.

I don't see a lot of persona in this game, mainly how exploration outside of dungeons work.

Me either it's more like BattleNetwork which is fantastic.I don't see a lot of persona in this game, mainly how exploration outside of dungeons work.

Yeah so far I'm not seeing that either. More like Inazuma Eleven plus Virtual On which I'm totally fine with.
