I was also able to register through the preview app itself, even though I haven't received an invite yet.

Any word on getting access to some apps updated to their Windows 10 version while we're in preview? I hope the Xfinity app comes back in Windows 10 form.

Important - you can unenroll at any time, but your console will keep receiving updates until the current update wave is over, and the update has been released to the general public.

Yeah, but not surprising. Same thing happened with W10 preview builds for PC and phone, there is no easy way to roll-back. It's not a full release for a reason, that's why its opt-in.

Your saves are cloud-saved so those are fine. You probably could save your games to a hard drive and maybe those don't get deleted?

When they say a game or app may "fail to launch", do they mean like it will fail to launch once and you can try it again and it'll probably launch or that it might just full on not work for some users?

If you opt out during the program, yes. I would assume you'll be fine if you stick with it until the public release.

That list... might opt out for the time being. Forza 6 and TTK are the only games I'm going to play until Halo.

Just registered for New Xbox One Experience Preview via Xbox Preview App. Havne't gotten the invite so hope I get in.

Keep it in mind this preview will be updated around twice per week. Whatever not working should be fixed fairly quickly. Microsoft has some top programmers.

Make sure people understand it's a beta engineering program and not an early access program.

You can't blame them considering the term has been consistently redefined within the games industry.

I highly doubt if this is going to be as buggy as W10/W10Mobile builds. Because aimed for different audiences. This will be buggy in some ways, but not as risky as the other W10 PC previews. Breaking your console is out of a question.

You should read the patch notes. Destiny doesn't even start. Entire existing features don't work any more etc.
