PlayStation Network Thread | September 2015

Is it really that bad? I mean, i saw the first few Minutes in a Video that a friend showed me, and i didn't think it was that bad

but then again, i have always a very low expectation for Voice acting in Games >.>

Eh, it's also that the rest of the series ony has english voice acting, so the change can be quite jarring. I really can't recommend the German one at all.

David Hayter is Snake and that's how it has to be

If thats it, then it's no issue. I have no problems adapting on a Game-to-Game Basis.

i also don't want to go trough the hassle of messing with my memory card, so there's that lol

There a huge amount of new sales on EU PSN
Mostly PSX, PSP and PS2 classics but not only that

Includes stuff like Crash, all the Suikodens, Claduns, Gradius V and a lot more. Check if the PSX Classic you want has some 50Hz/black border problems before purchasing though.

There's also Hatoful Boyfriend for 50% off, Skullgirls 2nd Encore 40% off, Nova-111 50% off (talk about bomba), Tembo 50% off

https://psprices.com/region-de/discounts?platform=all&sort=date&page=1

What BGM track does it come with?

Part of me wants to buy Suikoden 1, 2 and 3, Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2 and SMT:Lucifer's Call mostly for when they enable us to play them on PS4 with trophy support. Another part is saying no because those games probably won't be playable on the PS4, or if they are, won't have proper trophy support. I don't think I have it in me to replay them without any incentives D:.

So my vita slim arrived from Germany today and the manual is Deutsch which I can't read :p

Is there an English PDF somewhere of the Vita 2000 manual? Only found the original model's manual online.

The only info you need is not in any Sony manual, but here.

Finally set up my PS4 after having it sit on the table for like 2 weeks
Seems fast and responsive, and the controller is pretty comfortable!

I signed up to PS+ and added this month's game, will look for possibly older games I added before my last PS+ sub ran out
I don't have any multiplayer games right now but add me up if you will!

Any tips or tricks for a new user? I'm trying to get my NAT type from 2 to 1 (or open, whatever it's called) using this guide and opening the ports mentioned, but its not use
Currently download Driveclub PS+ edition preload and the download speed seems okay, but I wonder why its stuck on NAT type 2 :/

Edit: Is there any way to see the download speed or view a download list aside from the Driveclub app thing that showed up in my menu? It was at 3GB out 11 something and said 49 minutes remaining, so I'm assuming it's downloading pretty fast

I'm finally done with MGSV:TPP, I played it for 75 hours and pretty much used all my free time since the game came out, what a game(with a crappy ending but it was still great).

Now I need to finish DR:AE, I'm currently in the middle of chapter 3, before P4DAN comes out.

So, is there something super amazing after beating the final optional boss in Demon Gaze? I don't care for new game+
Yes, talking about Quasar here.
My fights all result in stalemates, then I get bored and just auto-attack until I die. Might just drop it and free some space on the mem card.

NAT 2 is fine, it just means the connection is reaching the PS4 through a router. Only NAT 3 is evil.

And there's no way to check the download speed without using the power of mathematics afaik.

You do it because you want to basically. If you are not feeling it then might as well drop it and delete the game to get space back. Since it already seems like you have lost interest in the title if all you are doing is auto-attacking till you die.

Now that we are talking about P4D, where is this on the timeline? I know it takes place after P4, but is it after the Golden epilogue?
They all look like their "old" selves in this one.
or after P4Arena1&2?

I think this is a no, but out of curiosity. So if Profile2 downloads a PSP game on a PS3, and you switch over to Profile1 on the same PS3, it wouldn't let you copy that PSP game onto Profile1's Vita, right?

I just want the best option ;p

The download speeds seem fine, it download Driveclub + the update (15 + 11 gb) in less than 2 hours so that seem reasonable. I played a bit of Super Time Force as well and that game is super cool!

I've had my PS+ for a time after the PS4 so I've got a few games in my library including Resogun, should try that out. The last of Us should arrive in the next 2 days or early next week, so no shortage of things to play.

My PS4 seems pretty quiet, its not very hot and feels cooler than my PS3, tho I haven't played any disc based games on it yet so can't tell if it will make any difference

Before Golden epilogue and I think after Arena 1 at least.

iirc to get NAT 1 you'd need to plug your PS4 straight to the modem, with no router mid-way. Yes, your internet will work only on the PS4 then.
Don't know if you can get NAT 1 if your modem already has a built-in router. Maybe setting it on bridge mode? Don't know if the PS4 can do the authentication.

Go with NAT2 and just open some ports for great results.

And go play Resogun.

Well, the auto-attacking thing is only after 10~15 minutes of fighting where I can't do enough damage before he heals and he can't damage me. Will drop it then - loved the game until here, so it's a bit sad to get pissed with it right at the end.

RE: Demon Gaze 'stalemate' end-game boss battle.

Honestly, it sounds like a little bit of changing your party/weaponry/tactics around should fix this. I don't remember any stalemates post-game and I never grinded till after I beat everything, and that was only for the Muramasa. Auto-battle is good for mobs, but against a boss you should probably be putting a bit more thought into it, especially if autobattle simply results in stalemate.

But it sounds like you're just burnt out on it... so if you're not going for the plat, just move on.

I think this is a no, but out of curiosity. So if Profile2 downloads a PSP game on a PS3, and you switch over to Profile1 on the same PS3, it wouldn't let you copy that PSP game onto Profile1's Vita, right?

No, games are linked to accounts.

This hurts me, since I was a moron and bought all my PSP games on a separate psp-specific account. I don't know why I did this... but once the IGC and ps+ discounts came out, I was forced to choose my primary account for my vita, leaving all those old purchases orphaned.

Thankfully (and painfully) I've rebought 95% of the games on sale over the years, though there are a few I'm still waiting on [Eye of Judgement, I'm looking at you].

Sony, please put EoJ on sale, thanks!

EDIT ___

Wait, P5 has fixed dungeon design like a traditional DRPG????????
Dammit, I don't want to have to be interested in it.

Your profile says you're from Germany, so be careful because the MGS version on German PSN has a German dub and it's the worst thing you'll ever hear in your life
Get it from US PSN if you want to get into the series properly

German MGS is glorious and the way everyone should experience their first entry in the Solid series.
It's also the most polite version of the game. :O

Wait...
is Super Street Fighter II Turbo available for play on Vita? Is it any of the Capcom classic collections? I know the CPS1 SF2 games are in one of them but what about ST?

Come on, XSEED! Start confirming those release dates, you have too many games set for 2015 without release dates.

I still don't know if I should get Cold Steel for PS3 or Vita.
I'm leaning Vita but the performance problems are worrying :/

From what I read the patch fixed most of the issues and the loading times are only slightly longer than on the ps3.

Are the performance issues of the Vita version supposed to be that severe? From what I heard the Vita version plays fine after the latest patch.

It seemed to me like people were still saying PS3 >>>> Vita version. It's hard to find conclusive statements. That's why it's so hard!
I'm okay with the Vita version. Yes, there are load times (I would say a few seconds at most? I haven't played the game in a while), but in general I'm quite tolerant of load times (I played through the PS1 and PSP eras quite happily and only realised it was a thing people disliked when I got onto the internet :X) so YMMV. Personally, I wish I'd gotten the PS3 version. Not because of performance issues, but because I'd rather enjoy it on the bigger tv screen. The last Legend of Heroes game I played still have 2D sprites, so the 3D graphics feel special to me lol.

Oh, there should be a demo on the JP psn store.

See this is what I'm talking about :p
I'd buy both but that's not in my budget at the moment.
