I really hope 5 has a good in game summary or briefing on what has been going on between 4 and 5. 4 definitely suffered a bit from having lots of story stuff happen in other mediums outside the game, or at least it felt that way.

5 is a standalone story. If you play 5 and then read Escalation, you'll be like, "Oh cool a prequel and now I know some background details on these things"

Visually not as sparkly as the previous games. The more that's revealed of the story though, the better it feels. What's MC up to?

The beta multi-player was some of the most fun I've had in a multi-player game in recent memory, it feels like a modern version of Halo 2.

Stupid good. Might be the best Halo I've ever played. Going back to the old games is tough now, I keep trying to thrust and clamber...

Despite being at a huge disadvantage (since people can see through freaking walls) and it being poorly implemented comparatively I've got the side thruster packs as my load out in Halo 4 just so I can get that halo 5 feel.

A whole new learning curve. Once it clicks, it's glorious. May truthiness set you free.

Oh, and it's the best halo mp i've played so far.

I have been using thruster since it released on the 360. I was pleased to see it remain for 5. Apart from silly AAs in halo 4, it is damn enjoyable.

As to 5, the beta was incredible. The best halo that I have played
