Picked up the guitar only bundle and man do i suck at this game on medium i do great until it starts making me have to spread my fingers from like red_blue to green_yellow etc. i just cant wrap my head around it.

So a lot of you guys are having issues with auto calibration? I admit I was skeptical when the game gave me like 100 for each setting, as my RB3 settings on the same Tv were like 20.

But it doesn't seem to be missing notes so idk. I wanted to play but then work came :(

Playing on Xbox One. Twice so far the guitar has somehow gotten disconnected and I need to turn it off and on to reconnect. There's no message, it just stops working. At first I thought maybe the XBO was frozen but it is just the guitar controller. Hasn't happened during a game, just when navigating the menus.

Anyone else getting that or is this an indication I have a bun guitar? (Which would suck...)

People are reporting that Babymetal (and the other songs that had issues) were updated and fixed on xbox one. Go to the store and re-install them. For some reason though it shows the same size (probably hasnt been updated)

Thanks. Can I actually start up my XB1 with the guide button on the guitar or do I have to start it up with the controller? NXE is still installing so I haven't had a chance to test it out.

Also I never owned a RB set of instruments, the guitar feels weeeeeeird. Mostly the select button placement compared to my Les Paul or GH5 guitar.

The buttons feels nice, a million times better than the garbage RB1 guitars I used 7 years ago. The silent strum bar isn't as bad as I imagined it to be.

Went to Best Buy this evening to pick up my guitar+game XB1 bundle that I preordered and they had a full band in box kit with my name on it that I could've walked out of the store with for $110, but I couldn't let myself do it. At least they found a guitar bundle for me!

Otherwise I'm not really liking these freestyle guitar solos. Turned them off pretty much immediately but I'll go back and check them out later.

Yeah I'm going to have to practice tons. Been away for way too long. Not going to start my tour on easy.

So, is the only way to get your old DLC on Xbox One to go through the store and look for things you've already gotten? We're just getting them by checking the Rock Band 4 add-ons on the Xbox Store on the console. Some of the songs we got show up as purchased, but some do not. None of the Green Day or Rock Band Blitz songs are showing as purchased.

We had around 865 or so tracks in our Rock Band 3 setlist, so either way, it's going to take a long time to get everything back. We have the exports for all of the games (1, 2, Blitz, Green Day, Lego), but I don't know how to get those on Xbox One.

Oh, yeah, and what about DLC that isn't around anymore, like Blood Sugar Sex Magik?

The RB4 music store has locked my console six times now. I really need to just walk away for the evening and play some Destiny or something.

From what I hear it's less than previous versions and to get more options you need to buy them by doing tour mode.

I have the green day rock band export offer entitlement still in my NA PSN account, is there still a way to export them to rb 4? or am I out of luck?

Do the Rock Band 4 instruments work on the 360? I may want to go back to RB3 since it has the missing songs I like, Metallica and apparently the entire Ozzy 8 pack.

Is there a single agreed fix for the 'Jane' thing? Going into the music store doesn't trigger an update, and while a few songs are looking for an update - it always fails. Can't even uninstall the effected songs, and attempt a re-download. I'm now considering uninstalling/reinstalling, but I imagine that'll do fuck all at best.

Unfortunately, no. They use different wireless technology...hence why the Xbox One has an adapter for the 360 ones to work on Xbox One. But there's no way to use the new One instruments on 360.

Seems really weird that you start out with like four hair options. Framerate also seems to deep in a bit in the backgrounds which is disappointing.

Thought so. Oh well. I hope Harmonix are somehow able to get some of the old good songs back. I have no sympathy for the record labels losing so much money. They're dinosaurs who don't know how to make money off music in this new digital age. Release the songs for Rock Band and Rocksmith and let people pay money for them. I don't understand why they are so protective of these songs.

With all the problems I'm reading about here, I might wait a bit longer than payday to pick this up. Let's see how disk exports work out I suppose.

Still stuck between Xbone and PS4. On one I need instruments and on the other I need to repurchase songs.
