I got lucky enough to see the final taping of this! So excited to see how it all comes together.

There was a pre-taped sketch they showed that had me rolling. Dino was in it and definitely gave me an "audition" or "pre-taped call in" type vibe in it's greatness.

Just because I noticed, I saw Uncle Acid in Denver about a month ago. The first band was really bad, Ruby the Hatchet was good but it felt like they were trying too hard to be Sabbath. Uncle Acid was really good (had not seen them before) so it was worth the ticket. I almost bought that shirt

I remember one of the commentaries where someone said they had a follow up to Van Hammersly partly written where it was WW2 and Van Hammersly had to discover who at a party was a Nazi spy by using billiards. I always wanted to see that.

Ok I take it back. Now I want to see more Van Hemmersly.

I find the structure of this sketch to be exhausting to follow which is why The Audition has always been my favorite sketch from them.

Definitely a worthy contender. The Audition is fantastic, too.

Although it may be a bit silly, I've also always loved the "24 Is The Highest Number" bit, as well.
