I feel bad for looking forward to this a little more than XV. At least this one has good gameplay.

Sadly, you are probably right. HexaDrive's T0 port wasn't perfect, but at least it was above reproach performance-wise.
Define 'fix'. I mean if it runs identical to the iOS version it's probably intended. See: FFIV and its battle framerate.
Stuff like this. WTF is going on with the rock?

I still never saw a major difference in performance between FF13 and 13-2. Both have terrible framepacing which make them switch almost arbitrarily between 30 and 60 FPS, but I don't see a huge difference in their behavior.XIII2 had horrible performance compared to XIII for me. I imagine that's partly due to wider structure of the world, but it also just looked worse off somehow. Gonna keep my expectations low but pocket open because I'm a terrible consumer.
Xenoblade Chronicles X will be released in December too. Terrible timing, SE .
Yeah that lucrative Wii U-owning/non-PS3-owning/Steam gamer is going to be confused what to play. All 4 of them.
what are you talking about? PS3?
It'll be amazing if this still has the same framerate problems as 13 and 13-2 despite the lengthy delay after 13-2.
Sadly, this is most likely true. They would sooner leave it to the mod community to get their pc ports to modern standards than fix it themselves. The delay probably had nothing to do with fixing the port.

I could downsample from 4k in FF13 with solid 30 fps in battles. 13-2 only ran with unstable FPS (anything 20-60) in 1080p (AMD 7950). On top of that I had to replay the first hour multiple times until I figured out that I had to disable cloudsaving or else achievements were broken.I still never saw a major difference in performance between FF13 and 13-2. Thissssss. Never had so much fun with a FF battle-system.Everyone should play this, best ATB system ever.
Ratings are mediocre, why should I play this game?
LR's system is one of the most fun I've ever played in an RPG. The only complaint I have is that it takes a while before it actually becomes fun. In the beginning, I feel like the ATB bars take too long to reload until you unlock certain accessories and weapons. It also takes a while to unlock more interesting skills. Definitely go through everything on a second playthrough on Hard, since everything carries over. Replays are a blast.
Unique combat, good pacing, animations, visual effects, and soundtrack.
There's an annoying time limit on everything; it's generous, but doesn't add anything to the gameplay, so it's better to hack it out asap.
Honestly the only issue with time limit is some of the early quest that require you to be at some place on time and if you miss it you have to wait until next day.Unique combat, good pacing, animations, visual effects, and soundtrack.

Chronostasis i think. Once you get used to it its incredibly easy to manage time with it. Just make sure to keep your...AP i think it was, up high enough for another castThere's that ability (forget the name now) that allows you to temporarily stop time and you can essentially exploit the hell out of it to have almost as much time as you want.
This was my only real complaint. I understand a lot of it had to do with monsters going extinct making it hard to balance XP, but it made the progression feel a little weird. Fortunately I had a lot more fun with the side quests in this game than the vast majority of RPGsAfter a while you have far too much time in your hands and you end up finishing everything...I hated it and then I liked it in the sense that everyone has different results with it. But it is true that it serves no purpose and I also disliked levelling up through side quests rather than XP.
it takes place I think 500 years after, but is a direct continuation regardless as it follows the consequences of 13-2's endingDoes this game continue on the ending of XIII-2?
Yea the side quests are alright.Chronostasis i think. Once you get used to it its incredibly easy to manage time with it. Just make sure to keep your...AP i think it was, up high enough for another cast

Lightning has hilarious one liners for some of them.
