Uuuuhhhh...

I'm sure you've thought it out more based on the 120 seconds of the story you saw ten minutes ago than JJ et al. did when they spent months writing it and a dozen more months and a hundred million dollars filming it.

(Don't get me wrong, maybe that actually is the case, but I think it's at the very least premature to criticize the story logic based on a trailer that literally divulged like 100 words of dialogue.)

I have this crazy feeling Kylo wouldnt want to hurt Luke, especially if he knew Vader was his father, it would be some form of sacrilege.

The cinematography is already heads and shoulders above most scenes I remember from the prequels. Even if there is no substance to this film, it will look like a top tier entry from cinematography alone.

Better than Star Trek XI? Because by that trailer alone, it's near that at worst.

Kylo isnt a Sith, he is apart of an organization call The Knights of Ren. Dont know how they fit in with the Sith although if they worship Vader they arent Sith worshipers. Sounds like they have their own way of doing things?

Luke. His scene with R2 has the same lighting as the battle scene with the lander.

All Darth Vader wanted to do was "End this destructive conflict and bring order to the galaxy"... he said that to Luke when he asked him to join him at his side.

The means to that end may have been in question, but that end is not necessarily a bad thing that Luke would be against. He may have even supported it.

And considering what Vader did to the Emperor at the end of RotJ, it's possible Vader was going to overthrow the Emperor eventually anyway.
