It doesnt. In fact, dont expect anything from New Vegas. It kinda feels like there is a Infinity Ward / Treyarch thing going on with Bathesda / Obsidian when it comes to Fallout

No, which kind of sucks, but since so few people actually played through the entire game with it on it isn't too much of a loss. But like others have said, it will probably get a pretty quick mod treatment.

Unmarked spoilers weren't being discussed in the leak thread unless the definition of spoilers has suddenly changed. If you wanted to participate in a content-less hype thread, well, those aren't allowed.

Yes, this irks me as well. He shows up to tell me about the vault and about 30 seconds later...the nukes get dropped....

VAULT TEC STARTED THE FALLOUT.

In the 2 minutes I have read this thread upon joining I now learned that you get to the Vault by a Guy that rings your door and whose picture has been quoted now 4 times at least and I have seen building jumping with the Power Armor. :X

That's a bummer. I don't blame them, but I really loved that mode. Mods are such a godsend.

Y'know, I can't help but be cynical about Bethesda's plans regarding modding, even with the EULA promising 100% free mods.

The general rule is that anything that's been officially shown by the developer doesn't count as spoilers, sadly.

So you might as well bail out now if you wanted to stay completely untouched.

That guy was part of the announcement trailer. I'd hardly consider it a spoiler. If you do, you probably shouldn't be in this thread.

Which has been part of the official pre-release media campaign for half a year or longer. What you're asking for is media blackout, a personal decision where you crawl into a hole until the game releases.

I'll be honest, my Fallout knowledge is minimal at best. Good to know I have the right idea. Fallout 3 was my first fallout. I'm intrigued by this game but probably waiting for reviews.

Vault-Tec is shady as fuck. The vaults are basically meant as long term experiments iirc.

You or I have different degrees of spoilers than everyone else. Gameplay spoilers, plot spoilers, system spoilers... lots of different kinds of spoilers.

I'm fine with the Leak thread in terms of how "spoilery" it was but there are already a few people pointing out the need for potential spoiler awareness.

EDIT: Personally, I don't think the merge is a problem in the spoiler aspect, I'm just sure there are a few people who do.

Do you guys think the sales man specifying you can't bring your robot will have some place in the story?

I know Codsworth sounds chipper when you first meet him, but the live robot at E3 has some really dark words about human freedom. Is there a chance he might end up bitter for being left to die?

Lighting is nice but lord so much looks untextured, hope pc has a lot more detailed textures than that. Looks like some pre-alpha shit going on, and it seems like its mostly in the big city. They must have had some crazy streaming issues to cut it back so much.

No HC mode? That was the best difficulty in NV, one that feels like it's actually balanced towards it compared to godmode AI in other titles.

The game is in the wild now and in the next few days there are going to be a ton of actual spoilers posted in here.

If these threads had remained separate, that wouldn't be an issue.

Got a feeling you'll be able to get more options once you're out in the wasteland,it's missing those raider type,punk hairstyles and I remember at least a woman from trailer rocking that.

Also,do we know if the CC is still using that annoying RGB color slider?

No hardcore mode stinks. I really enjoyed it in NV, since it gave all those food items and water bottles a purpose. Having to choose what ammo to carry and the healing over time stimpaks was nice too.

Watching this 20 minute gameplay mash up of all the officially released stuff was great. Looking at the depth and variety of the base building and weapon customization has me feeling pretty excited. Some of the locals shown look pretty fantastic as well.

I love the fact that you can have Brahmin trade routes between bases.

Cant wait to see what types of bases some gaffers come up with.

Everyone saying there is no Hardcore mode, is that still just based on that one leaker's posts on the Spanish forum? While I'm almost 100% certain it's not in Fallout 4 I'm just wondering if it's been corroborated anywhere else. I still haven't seen a good description of exactly what Survival difficulty is. Just tougher enemies and maybe slower healing.
