This is gameplay from Xbox One version. Outside at Sanctuary. I'll upload an interior vid if this one works. https://vid.me/EOqY
*squints* looks fine to me.

I don't know what that means, but YIKES, that sounds bad.
Your memory is incorrect. AC Black Flag had Sony marketing.
There goes your theory...

I think you need to be looking through the scope at a group of enemies like that other video the OP posted.
Everytime I start my PS4 it rebuilds my database, lol.
It's not my PS4, it's the game.
It's going to be hard to replicate the scope video from the PS4. Bethesda games are the kind of games where framerate can wildly fluctuate from user to user, depending on what objects each user moved throughout their playthrough.I think you need to be looking through the scope at a group of enemies like that other video the OP posted.

its not like the game is unplayable. I have played worse patched versions from bethesda. Bugs and Frame rate has NEVER been Bethesda's strong suit. People have been saying yeah but its 2015 and they said 2010 with skyrim, in 2006 with oblivion and 2008 with fallout 3. they game gets better when it reached GOTY version
It's a 1 second rebuild, got that since the latest patch.
I'll look for some enemies and try to make a quick vid.
I'm guessing that I must be blind, because while the scope video from OP is a little slow, the first video isn't bad at all by console standards. Certainly not the 10fps slideshow that the post title made me think it would be.

It automatically rebuilds your database every time you turn it on? Are you sure there's nothing wrong with it?
Seems I like it'll be like other Bethesda games before this, technical issues will vary user to user depending on a number of factors.from /r/fallout
not everyone is having the same issues.
Have you tried re-downloading the patch?

"10+ raiders and about 20 ghouls"
i call bullshit on that..
I don't see why this is an issue. Most people don't even notice if the framerate in a game is 60, 30 or 20. It's just another reason to complain. Internet hate culture is really starting to annoy me. Do you know how big Fallout 4 is? You can enter a ton of houses. No loading screens. I'm not surprised the framerate dips a little under 30 on consoles. This game is even bigger than Skyrim. At least give it a chance.
No ? Why would I do that ?
The PS4 rebuilding database at boot up is simply a glitch, haven't gotten around to fix it by manually rebuilding the data base, will do that now.

There's an edit you purposely ignored and I suggest you read it.

Well...my thinking was that since you said it started since that patch, maybe something got got corrupted in the download process.

Love this.
They really fell out with Obsidian, didn't they?
Well, I haven't played the game without the patch.

Why would you rent dog shit?WOW some of the responses in this thread and the other one are pretty amazing. Some people here really are on all fours, happy to lap up anything Bethesda splurt out. I'm not someone that cares much about framerate but that looked terrible and it was with nothing going on, it would be even worse during a gun fight.
Standards really drop from a technical standpoint when Bethesda release a game, no wonder they don't give a fuck about improving their games performance to an acceptable standard. People going to be paying £40 for this game, Bethesda are just cheap fuckers and they have no excuse at all. I'm only renting this dog shit looking game and that will be next year when it's had patches, no idea why someone would buy this day 1.
Oh man. That made me laugh harder then I thought.Yea rip
I'm just suggesting that maybe the patch is what's causing the rebuild process. It doesn't really have to do with you playing it without the patch.
I guess they embargoed the embargo so reviewers couldn't talk about all the tech issues even as keynotes proposed by bethesda themselves as unmentionable. I think what I just said made sense.
