While I know MS/Sony paying developers to sabotage the other version of a game is bum-fuckingly stupid, I wouldn't be surprised if the XB1 version of the game was in a better state. I know there was something similar with Skyrim, where the PS3 version is still completely busted, but the 360 version was fine, because maybe they never bothered to test it on PS3 or something.
Come on this is bad by even hivemind standards.

I thought it had to do with Ps3's low RAM?

When you have lived through PS3 FO3 DLC running at 1FPS for 30-40s, this seems positively super fast next gen. :D

When's the reviews out is it tomorrow?

Looks like the GAF backlash is revving up early for this one.

Saw way too many people on here say shit like they quit Witcher 3 cuz of framerate (lol ok) and MGS 5 is totally the worst metal gear (sigh). Really of the large launches only Bloodborne hasnt had too much gaf-lash.

But usually we at least wait to play it before deciding its awful.

It was, but for some that is not enough and more drama needs to be added to make it look like someone was paid off to gimp the ps3 version. Look at Jonnydrama's post for proof of people trying make it sound like it is a pay off or something similar.

In my opinion, this is yet another example of Microsoft paying off the publishers to provide inferior experiences on PlayStation consoles. The Xbox has sold poorly, and it quickly becoming irrelevant, so Microsoft are resorting to cheap tactics such as having PlayStation versions deliberately gimped in order to stay relevant in the eyes of consumers. Assassin's Creed Unity, The Witcher 3, and Resident Evil Revelations 2 are examples of this awful practice. I'm sure when you play this game on the Xbox One All In One Entertainment System, this game will be 1080p at a locked 30FPS, with mods available from the get go.

Bad example, joke post.

I'm not sure exactly why but I don't see reviewers fawning over Fallout 4. So much of that release acclaim seems to be tied to pre-release hype, and though people are excited to play it Fallout 4 doesn't seem to have that hype 'aura'.

I certainly think the review thread will be entertaining. No, I know it will be entertaining.

It looks fine. There's noticeable lag when you load a new area, oh no, it lasts less than a second.

Sorry boiz.

I understand waiting on reviews. When it comes to performance though? uhh don't hold your breath for anything in depth. "there's some framerate dips here and there, nothing that effects gameplay. 9.6/10"

Been watching some people playing it on Live from PlayStation and it looks OK to me.

It doesn't look anywhere near what I wouldI really like it to look like but it's pretty much what I was expecting from a Bethesda game on the current consoles. I'd love it to look as good as other open world games but "attractive" has never really been a part of Bethesda's vocabulary.

PC Games Hardware is already testing. Benchmarks will arrive in around 15h. But you don't get stuff like that for consoles. Sadly.

Hi guys, further impressions.

So I went outside of that place, and then there were raiders all over the place, up and down, everywhere. Some of them threw molotov cocktails at me, which resulted in massive frame rate drops.

Then I killed those raider scums and went back to mother base.

It is really smooth everywhere else than this area. I have to venture further into that town, maybe the problems will persist, maybe it's only that area.

Again, game runs pretty smooth 'for a Bethesda game'. Also, game is fun.

Why? Because somebody does not think that the game will be universally praised? I don't even have a PS4.

I would love to think that, but you have to remember that reviewers are gamers, and gamers are affected by hype and PR. Unless the technical issues are insane like in New Vegas, they will be ignored in favor of hype.
