It did? Sure you're not thinking of Oblivion? The game was more than a turd... It introduced micro transactions.

I think it's bad if you have to load a lot when entering / exiting buildings.
* wait 30 seconds *
Oh crap I forgot that thing inside

Now let's get back out

I totally fucked up... Readers are leaders I will hang my head in shame I misread the post I quotedIt did? Sure you're not thinking of Oblivion?
You guys are killing me with these Star Wars gifs, haha
I love me some Star Wars. Especially when the Jedi fight the Klingons over the Unobtainium in the James Cameron Transformer movie.
The best part is his username.
But this thread...
whoever made this gif deserves a shiny gold sticker
I hoped that Kevin Van Ord would review it for Gamespot and then I learned he left back in July One of the few reviewers I trust.
Say what you will about Bethesda, horse armor was one lesson they very clearly learned from.I totally fucked up... Readers are leaders I will hang my head in shame I misread the post I quoted
That's a great point and can see how that's going to be annoying for a game like this. I do wonder if reviewers would be critical of this, but I have my doubts though,
Is Daniel Bloodworth reviewing it for Gametrailers?
He is
Unless something changed in the past week, no, Bloodworth is not reviewing Fallout 4 for GT. Bloodworth confirmed it right here on NeoGAF.
Yeah, but he also went full retard in every thread we discussed Dishonored ...The Thief reboot made him go CRAZY, but I can understand his reaction since the game was awful.

Compare.
PS4 video from Kenzodielocke
X1 video from zorbsie
So basically he's a serial liar.
70 hours? My God then it means maybe you were perfectly ok with itIf this is somehow worse than F3 Goty edition on PS3, then, wow. That would be an amazing feat for Bethesda to surpass. I got myself through 70 hours through that before I had to stop because the framerate issues just became almost never ending.
This will probably be bad, but as long as it never gets near that bad, I'll be fine. It would be very nice to just play it at a constant solid 30FPS though.
I played it. It's stable most of the time. I notice some minor drops here and there but nothing major. I think the game looks really really good most of the times. Especially the dynamic weather effects are breathtaking. Only interiors and some NPCs look mediocre and the draw distance isn't so hot.
It makes sense that it is sub-30fps when you see how incredible the interiors look:
Come on now everybody. It's Bethesda.
Embrace. The. Jank.

... I'm kinda hoping I get invisible guns.
Thanks for this. I read the first page and then came here looking for Xbox One info.So just to recap afaik what's going on in this (fast moving) thread:
- Title of the thread makes people think the PS4 version (specifically) has major FPS issues inside buildings
- Video posted by OP showed some (minor for some, major for others) slow downs in about 3 instances
- Many argue they don't really see it, others that it is a major offense and that it looks horrible
- Another video is posted with a scope zoom that shows a major hit in fps
- Some deduce that if the PS4 version has serious technical problems, then the XB1 version must be fine and imply they are switching their pre-order (whether they are joking or not is left in the air)
- Some others freak out taking for granted that the XB1 version is superior (without evidence) and start accusing Bethesda of being paid off by MS to mess up the PS4 version (which may or may not eventually be patched). Again, whether THAT is a joke or not is left up in the air.
- Bethesda is generally ridiculed for releasing majorly glitched titles, specially on consoles, but overall on PC as well
- Some people report videos and player posts (on reddit and other places) where no problems are being mentioned on PS4
That about it, or did I forget anything major?

and to think I almost passed up on the PC version for the convenience of the PS4
As long as they don't fuck up Doom Bethesda are still my heroes. Having said that, this Fallout 4 stuff is inexcusable.

Playing on PS4 and the drops are real. Had to defeat a small bandit camp within a dungeon instance and it nearly hit the single digit territory. It feels bad in every big fight.

Amazing!
In my opinion, this is yet another example of Microsoft paying off the publishers to provide inferior experiences on PlayStation consoles. The Xbox has sold poorly, and it quickly becoming irrelevant, so Microsoft are resorting to cheap tactics such as having PlayStation versions deliberately gimped in order to stay relevant in the eyes of consumers. Assassin's Creed Unity, The Witcher 3, and Resident Evil Revelations 2 are examples of this awful practice. I'm sure when you play this game on the Xbox One All In One Entertainment System, this game will be 1080p at a locked 30FPS, with mods available from the get go.

I'm looking forward to the reviews tomorrow morning.
