  10. Yep this after reading this part again I can say for sure that it is still my favorite of all the eight parts. For JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable. From Jaxec. (rev)
  11. The bigger pull is the very unique art, to which I warmed up quite a bit, one that with the aforementioned characters and the unusual storytelling creates a very memorable atmosphere. For Takemitsu Zamurai. From phaze. (rev)

  23. Holy shit, that was awesome. The art is much more serious than the anime, even the story is more understandable, but the dialogue, especially the narrator, is still so damn over the top, it's hilarious. Can't wait for volume 2. <3 For Ninja Slayer Vol 1. From Soff. (imp)
  24. What a good manga. The pattern was routine but the games were interesting and you were always wondering how Akiyama and Nao would be able to win the games. The ending was way too abrupt though. Highly recommend! For Liar Game. From Mockingbird.

Girl und panzer little army
Imagine for a second a world where tank fight is a national sport. Ridiculous? No doubt. Now add the facts that the crews are mostly girls, even as young as junior high school. That's the basic gist about it. One of the manga that accompany girls und panzer anime. The dtory is about Miho, a young girl and the daughter of a family famous for tank battle (tankery or senshado). We see her alongsidr her friends as they delve into the world of tanks battle. Just like the anime, it feature good story about friendship and sport.
The artwork is nice, and the story play sport trope straight, despite using a tank.
Give it a read if you're into sports manga featuring cute girls.

No Fairy Tail/Nanatsu no Taizai this week? Granted, they've both been going months without a break so it's well earned, but the need is real(Especially after the Gowther revelation)

BatDan

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
One Punch Man

... I'm reminded why I fell behind on the manga. 6 pages? Seriously? Sure, two of them were a big spread but come on.

EDIT: Turns out Viz is also behind. The official site has a lot more chapters.

BLack Clover 42

Oh she's back? That was fast, I guess he didnt want to keep her a surprise.

Food Wars! 147

I love it when Soma looks like this sometimes. How could anyone resist tasting his dish after looking like that.

Im glad he's inspired by Chinese cooking. He appears affected by Kuga in many ways.

World Trigger 124

I guess the theory that Hyuse could join Mikumo squad was crushed? I hope, though, that Rhodokhroun turns him away, or either they crushed and annihilated and he has no choice but to rely on Jin and the others. Also it was way to easy for him to get the Triggers. Ill just guess Jin also knew this would happen, No way would they have seriously thought Yotaro was enough to stop him. Still I chuckled when Hyuse looked back and thought of Yotaro as he was leaving. They became friends.

Most of my favorites had good scenes, Taichi, Satori, Hanzaki, favorite three snipers.

The author comments on this week's Jump were surprising

I had no idea tosh. was married. And no, I don't think that situation will be okay with her having allergies.

But the biggest downer was that Ashiahara's hospitalisation was in fact due to his cervical spondylosis that he had to undergo surgery for last year :/ It seems like his condition didn't improve a year later, and that this was something sudden rather than a regular check up.

Noramimi by Hara Kazuo

Ah, mascot characters, a staple of everyone's childhood. One has oftentimes imagined how life would be were they to be real. Well, what if the world was like that? A world where mascots exist for the sake of the happiness of children everywhere? How would this utopia be like? How would the mascots integrate within the human society?

Noramimi is one of such mascots, but he has a problem: it's been years since he got to live together with a child.

Noramimi is a wonderfully simple yet surprisingly thought-provoking manga about mascots and their quirks, their worries, their life, and their relationship with children, with humans. Through the eyes of the eponymous Noramimi and his entourage, we get to experience their world and the wonders of mascots. Its simple yet refined art works wonderfully well at designing recognizable mascots and bringing out the characters' emotions.

Wonderfully combining both fantasy and reality into a cluster of episodic tales, Noramimi is nothing less than a love letter to the mascots of our childhood.
I was sort of disappointed with the ending to this.

Mondlicht - Tsuki no Tsubasa 1-33 (END)
Supernatural shounen series about the conflict between pacifistic vampires and reanimated corpses of female historical psychopaths, with a sprinkling of smuttiness and yuri. A promising premise dragged down to its grave by a flimsy, poorly written story and unappealing central cast. That said, I actually somewhat enjoyed it despite its flaws, probably because there were a few entertaining villains that my interest could cling to. Not recommended unless you're willing to endure mediocrity for the sake of female fruit loops.

i think i just have to accept that i don't like prison school. i keep seeing one-off pictures that look cool and I love the artstyle and like i think there's a character i'll like who'll show up later but i don't find it very funny, or compelling, or even hot for that matter. Just kinda skeezy gross, even if it's part of the joke, it's just not entertaining. This is like the third time i've tried to power through to enjoy it and it's just not catching.

Sorry Prison School. I tried.
IIRC I tried reading Prison School years ago but was so turned off by the opening chapters that I dropped it. It probably deserves a retry, but my manga backlog is so mammoth that it's pretty difficult to motivate myself to revisit things.

Didn't know about this either. No wonder it's been such a while that tosh published a doujinshi, lol.

I was sort of disappointed with the ending to this.

Yeah, it's wasn't really much of a conclusion, but it overall did fit with the tone of the series.

Aww, already? Well, hopefully the author's next series will be as entertaining.

Jealous of the Glory that is Johnny Depp
World Trigger

Caught up to chapter 122 of world trigger manga, the previous fight was awesome like all the fights in this series. Good thing Tamakoma-2 suffered a defeat, would've been stupid to have them scrape a win against top ranked b teams.

Good on the mangaka to recycle old techniques like Lead Bullets and Kitora's wires setting them up to be used in different ways, sniping with lead bullets is gonna get interesting and Osamu's will most likely come up with a way to use Kitora's wires in a way she didn't even think about using making a unpopular technique suddenly popular and she getting jealous and angry about it.

shhh Graham I'm still compiling this Radiant map
Prison School ch. 200

We finally get some time devoted to the chairman's adventures and it feels like a total troll chapter. Amusing.

I believe he uses a specific program that makes his art look like it's watercolor based. I don't know how he does it though.

It really doesn't look like watercolor, hence my confusion. He'd be imitating acrylic paint, if anything, but it's still fairly obviously done in a paint program.
