I'm not seeing how to move the pins. Pressing start, the only options I see are "unpin" and "move to front".

Doesn't appear to be in this build, nor is achievement leaderboards.

Some random notes:

• The drill in Trending section has some UI placeholder, but seems like a nice addition.
• Animations in and out of the guide, apps, tabs appear to have been sped up.
• The guide appears to have larger text and elements are more spaced out. Not sure how I feel about it, but I guess I'll get used to it.
• Viewing who's in a party is a much needed addition
• The "Social" app (profiles/game hubs) appears to crash 100% of the time when you try to navigate to the Captures tab. I reported it, you guys should check and report as well.
• Saw what appears to be some placeholder on some posts in the community feed that have a little more interaction (multiple suggested friends in a single post with the ability to go to profile or direct add friend).

Disappointing that the gamerscore ranking is hidden in a section of your profile, who goes there? I know who I am, I don't check it every day.
The leader board was interesting on the previous dashboard because it's one of the first things you saw, and it made you want to compete even when you didn't intended to.

Does anyone else agree that the entire Xbox Experience could be unilaterally improved 10 fold if they simply swap the functionality of 1 jewel button press with double tap?

1 press should pull up the left bar.

2 press should send you home.

I pull up the friends/party/messages/snap bar FAR more often than I need to go home from, so I am smashing the button double the times I'd like to. This is such a first world problem, but this would literally change my fucking life.

Personally I'd prefer a time sensitive thing to multi-presses. I don't know what it is but at least 50% of the time my double-taps fail to be recognized. I can't tell if I'm doing it too fast or too slow or what, but I fucking hate it either way.

I say just make a brief hold map to the side-bar and increase the hold time for the "Turn off console" pop-up to 3-5 seconds or something.

Netflix is working, it`s just slower than before. The preview still isn`t working. It`s a general problem.

If you are a heavy gamer and use the guide for everything => yes

If you game and use lots of apps and want to switch easily between them => no

We should be able to choose! Personally I'd prefer to bring up the sidebar with a single tap rather than a double tap, but I know people prefer otherwise.

Also, my gamerscore leaderboard isn't showing at all.

I noticed some colours seemed to "pop" more (green specifically) after updating last night.

I like the little button at the top of the activity feed that goes to captures now as well.

I think they screwed up the gamma for the dashboard. Black crush is in the store now. Games and Apps still seem fine, though.

This preview update is awful. My guide freezes constantly, get kicked out of parties without a notification much more frequently and pretty much instantly. Might have to back out of the preview program because I'm constantly having to hard reset my box.

Make sure you report your issues through the dashboard first, so that your bad experience will at least be useful to the community.

I can't resume my Rise of the Tomb Raider save after that update. It softlocks with a terrible noise during loading. Already tried hard booting, same issue.

I'm 18% through at Soviet Installation and can't play now.

Yeah, I'm not seeing the update either.

I've been away from gaming for awhile, Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff and whatnot, so I haven't been doing any of the quests. I thought maybe I got booted from the Preview program for inactivity but it still says I'm active.

So my xbox completely loses the connection to my cable box if I switch inputs on my receiver. The only way to get tv working again is to restart the system. It never did this before, so I decided to see if there were any updates. Sure enough, there was an update the night before. So not only is the stutter on all video apps like Netflix, Vudu, etc. still not fixed, but now I have this bug too. I'm seriously fed up with this bullshit.

Nah, they made the font bigger, or they are at least doing A/B testing as I have larger font in the guide as well.

They screwed up the Party options. It won't automatically scroll down to menu points like "Leave Party", if there's too many people in the Party and the menu points are off-screen. I had to request getting kicked from the party.

I also don't like how they added 2 additional steps to join a party. "See who is in the party" should be the last menu point and not the 1st.

So yeah, they definitely screwed up the gamma with this update. What the hell is with MS and crushed blacks? It's FUBAR on both my TVs now and not just in Full Range. Limited Range is messed up too.

Hopefully. I really wish they'd address the video stutter too. I can't use my system for anything video related. Vudu, Netflix...even the tv app stutter. I can get TV to fix itself with a reboot, but the rest are always messed up. I installed Hulu last night to watch Arrow Season 4, and it periodically stuttered too. I just use my Roku now.
