Still looks available from here if you want to cancel to get the variant you want. Or maybe shoot them an email? Not it was my mistake due to their poor updating. They initially only had the deluxe three-pack up there, which costs $80. Basically you get three of the same record in each variant color.
A few minutes later they added the individual release variants. Those were of sane price, and marked at $28.99. The Mega Man variant was sold out when I realized this so I missed out and had to settle for the Cut Man variant. Really shitty because they published the page 20-ish minutes later than they the time they announced it would go on sale, and then on top of that they staggered the individual product pages from going live. Confused the hell out of me, made me create an order I didn't want, and made me waste a lot of time.

The MM2 tracks were always there (also on the picture disc) - it's MM3 tracks that are missing. The tracklist is identical to the picture disc as far as I can tell.
I am passing on Mega Man... Shipping to Europe is 25$
It's just too much for me to feel comfortable and I could not enjoy listening to it.
I'm not a fan of splatter colors, for the most part, this should've been a nice solid blue.
Surprised that limited edition isn't sold at yet if there's only 100 of the. Don't really get the point since it's just 3 copies of the same album, but I expected scalpers to be all over anything with "limited" attached to it.
Any way, got a normal version ordered. Can't wait. Been waiting forever for the non-picture release.
...hang on, really? I thought the whole point was that it was spread out.
These prices are just out of control at this point.
I'm gonna have to slow down. $29 for a single LP and with no appreciable difference in packaging is not reasonable, full stop.
The page for the $80 version shows the exact same Side A and Side B as the $28 versions, and that's it. So, seems like it's just all three color variants for a slight discount. Seems like a pretty unappealing thing.
Agreed. I feel like these boutique vinyl companies are starting to gouge consumers and strike while the iron is hot. They are probably looking at retailers like Urban Outfitters, and if they can charge $30 for some random "classic" vinyl, why can't we?
It's a shame, because there's some really cool things happening in the market. Vinyl releases that aren't even out on CD or digital, like Mondo's Star Trek II 2LP or Ship to Shore's Martin releases. But when Data Disc tries to sell a partial Shenmue soundtrack for twenty pounds, or some of these double LPs like Mother and Mother 2 for $40 (hell, I would get LASERDISC MOVIES at that price!), you gotta think this whole vinyl resurgence is just a bubble waiting to burst.
Jeremy Parish put up a review of the axiom verge LP and was not impressed by the quality of the packaging. Reading that same sentiment here kinda makes me second guess what il be getting with the mother 2 record.

I buy a lot of vinyl and my pricing expectations are around $18 for DIY indie metal/punk labels where selling 500 is a reasonable expectation, $25 for low press run avant/weird vinyl, and around $30-35 if the label isn't based in the USA. Double Lps tend to add $6-10.
There aren't gigantic licensing costs with this release, there was zero new art produced... Just why?
As I'm sure we all know, for a long time video game music on vinyl was a very rare thing. That's becoming less and less the case, and I hope prices will settle as a result. I fear they'll keep doing it as long as they can get away with this pricing, though.
Wow, that's ridiculous. I should've read the fine print I suppose, but I've literally never come across such a stupid "bundle." I'm going to cancel if I can.
Just this week the Turtles "box set" only contained all colour variants of the same album. Some collectors want all versions, but of course most will be sold online

Thought I'd take a look at the last 12 months or so of purchases on Amazon:
- Iron Maiden Book of Souls (3 LP) - $32
that's a priceless item
I suppose if I stop buying $30-50 video game albums I can afford it in no time.
But God damn if I just paid $46 for a 2LP with shipping.
Twitter discussions from Ship To Shore indicate that they will be releasing music from one or more Taito games!
For as much as I love their old games, I'd love Infinity Gene or Groove Coaster vinyl.Twitter discussions from Ship To Shore indicate that they will be releasing music from one or more Taito games!

:O ZUNTATA
At this time I can say we have an incredibly solid partnership in place with Taito which will yield multiple pressings.

finally came in! can't wait to listen to it tomorrow
Holy crap this is so perfect.Coming to think of it, Jet Set Radio would be a great match for the medium.
My number one want is Braid. Such a great soundtrack that would be nice to just put on and listen to.
Other random shit I'd be all over:
Castlevania
Batman (NES)
Final Fantasy IV, VI, VII, VIII, Tactics
Chrono Trigger

I also recently got the LP-120. Can anyone recommend a good amplifier to go with my seinheisser 598s?My wife got me an LP-120 for my birthday; I'm very happy to have a big boy player again, but I sure will miss the automatic start and stop.
