Is the Batman: Arkham Knight season pass worth getting?

Just started playing Arkham Knight NG+ after not touching it since finishing it months ago. I really like the game despite it not being as good as AA or AC. I wonder though, is it worth getting the season pass now? Currently it's sitting at $30 but it seems to mostly be skins.

Unseem to have missed the many arkham kiwi season pass threads op :p
General consciousness leads to the sp not being worth it

I got the ultimate edition that cost $17 during a price error

Still regret even downloading the season pass. It was awful compared to their other efforts

Not even most of the huge AK fans here argue in favor of the season pass. Seems to be nearly universally agreed as costing way too much for the content that's there.

I got the season pass and it's the worst case of buyer's remorse I've ever had. I haven't downloaded half of the season pass content, let alone played it. I traded in the game after I finished the lackluster Batgirl DLC and haven't looked back.

EDIT: As others have said, the base game itself is not really worth it.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Good lord no. I wouldn't even recommend the base game.

Well, the response is a lot more one sided than i expected lol. Guess i'll save the money for the last Witcher 3 expansion.

If your only into single player content and not challenge maps, just buy the season of infamy pack for 10 dollars and skip everything else. The other character packs like harley quinn and robin are only about 10 minutes of gameplay.

I own it and I'll say:

It's just not very good additional content. It's more of the same. If that's what you want though, it's not completely awful.

Fucking no. One of the single worst values you will see in a season pass within the history of season passes.

Yes, maybe for 4-5€, just to play Batgirl campaign and Season of Infamy. Even if they are just "more of the same" contents.
40€ for it is a steal anyway.

Yeah sure, if you like Batman and want a Bit more. I got the complete edition for PC for like £12, it's kept me going for many hours.

Wouldn't pay full price for it though if it's £20 or whatever just for the season pass, but if you can get it cheap, go for it. I really enjoyed the game, and I'm not a Batman fan.

Not at full price. The DLC is mediocre at best and downright horrible at its worst. Glad I bought the whole thing for $16 on Amazon.

It's not worth the price you mentioned, but I got the premium edition for PC costing £13.99.

At that value I'd say grab it just for the Tim Burton Batman Skin. The real issue with it is the fact that not all Batmobile skins work in the main game.

To use the Burton Batmobile skin, I have to play the Riddler race tracks. The worst part of the game. If I was a dev at rocksteady I'd want to make sure every skin worked with the Batmobile in the main game.

"Oh but JumpCancel, those older styles of Batmobile don't mesh with the in game versions mobility and weapons!"

Not my problem. RS could've found a mid ground and made it work.

That upset me the most, so my opinion of the game aside from that is good. However if I'd paid the £59 retail price I would despise the game and have played it on PS4 used after a year.

I got the main game for free and paid 12$ for the season pass and I'd say it still wasn't worth it. The base game's story is insultingly bad.

Some absurd responses in this thread. "It's not worth it even for free". Mate.

It's not worth it for full price. I think I got mine for £7.99 and I found it overall worthwhile, but I really liked the base game, too.

It continues the trend of generally lousy Season Pass content from WBIE-owned studios (note that I exclude WBIE-published content for The Witcher 3 and Dying Light).

At full price and/or solely for the story based stuff, then no.

If you enjoy the challenge room stuff and can find the pass really cheap, then it may be worth a look.

Don't know why people hate the main game, yea surly it had some problems but overall it was awesome, even if not as good as AC, still a worthy Batman game.

On the season pass I only heared aweful things though, wouldn't pay more than 10$ based on people's reaction to it.

Fantastic game, dreadful season pass, despite some good content.

Fact is, it's just not worth the price they asked for it. The ratio of value to cost is so negatively disproportionate that it's absolutely soured me on the idea of ever going for a season pass ever again.

The exceptional quality of the base game was enough for me to blindly take the plunge, but I really should have waited.

Season of Infamy should have been awesome but it pretty much sucks. The Batgirl DLC was kinda neat just because I like the character, but everything else is garbage.

I enjoyed the base game quite a bit, but regret preordering the season pass even with a discount. I would not recommend it, you won't miss anything.

I pre-ordered the season pass when it first became available so I definitely shot myself in the foot really early.

BUT...I didn't play any of the content the season pass introduced with the exception of the Batgirl DLC so I really can't say whether you should get it or not OP.

I will say this, the reason I didn't play any of it was because the Batgirl DLC was so underwhelming that I didn't even bother with the rest of it.

The only good thing about the the AK season pass is that it made me wary of other season passes and makes me think twice before committing.

If you like challenge maps, absolutely. They added over 50 new challenges with unique objectives for each playable character, which gives the game a huge replay value.

If you are only interested in story-driven stuff, pick up the Season of Infamy, Matter of Family and maybe the Harley DLC. The other individual episodes have some excellent level design but are pretty short, if you think that 15-20 minutes of gameplay are worth $2 go for them as well

Season pass is a joke, but the game is great, so go ahead and enjoy that. I loved it, personally.

I absolutely love the game, but I don't see anything interesting in the DLC. It's just filler.
It's only good if you're excited at the prospect of playing as so and so. Otherwise it's boring.

Either A) Wait for the Game of the Year edition(I'm sure it won it somewhere).

Or B) wait for that season pass price to drop off a cliff or go on sale.
