The last march of Nintendo?

I don't think that is actually reasonable.

Hey, I didn't file the patent.)

But it's not farfetched, workstations operate in this way. PS3's Cell architecture was designed to do it. People build PC's with multiple GPUs for this reason. I'm not suggesting the performance scales perfectly, but gains do exist. As for the 'remotely' bit, I'm referring to situations that don't call for low latency. But again, I'm reiterating the concept of the patent, which, iirc, was filed relatively close to the time of the patent for the leaked controller images we are now seeing.

Someone please explain the trees joke and where it started

I apparently missed something about some trees... You guys are hard to follow sometimes >.< What's the new news ?

It isn't a joke. Someone legitimately thinks they may have proven where the leak came from by posting pics of the trees at certain dev houses that MIGHT have been reflected off of what MAY be the NX controller.

Another crappy photoshop job but if this is backwards compatable with Wii U games I hope that they build something in the system that displays a blurred version of the gameplay in the background of the gameplay window, similar to what the news stations do with video recorded vertically on a phone.

Yeah. I'm leaning towards him thinking it was a funny thread with a, to him, pretty obvious fake and then realizing or getting told they should never ever acknowledge rumours and speculation in that way, even when not true.

An alternative would be him not having been shown or told about NX yet, and not realizing what he retweeted was actually something true. I just don't see him retweeting that if he knew it was true, that'd be strange af.
That's what I'm thinking as well.
but dang, those would be some well crafted fakes.

3. He's toying with us.

I replied to that idea a little back.

They were right.
The Wii Remote has never been the standard control of a platform outside the Wii.

It came fast and went away as fast.
Yeah, the negative overreaction to the wiimote unveiling was right.
It was just the controller for the best selling home console of that generation.

Dont think it's Massive, the trees are not there anymore.

it could be Bergsala which is the company that brought Nintendo to scandinavia

Plot thickens like porridge

Keyboard is set in a swedish/finnish different format or something. Only major third party that nintendo might consider giving a devkit to in Sweden is Massive which is part of Ubisoft. An early pic of the Massive building has trees in it. The supposed "leaked" handheld has a reflection of a tree. Detective-gaf goes crazy with the cross tree comparisons.

For the second time in a row Nintendo draws the wrong conclusion out of the iPhone´s success.

This sucks - SO MUCH!

If I can snap this into something with buttons, I may be down for it. Then I could see my screen as I'm playing the game. This thread is great, good day today. 👍🏾

The tree in the back of the image is actually the Cthaeh. It's seen a possible future for the next nintendo console and using it to disrupt gaf in the most malicious way.

I can say with 99% certainty they don't know about NX. They are the distributor of Nintendo-goods, they are not part of Nintendo and will not get early prototypes or devkits. In fact, they'll probably learn about NX right alongside us, and won't get anything until the late stage of marketing when they'll get demo stations and other supplies for marketing and distribution.

I drive a car with a haptic touch screen and I can barely change fucking climate controls without having problems, let alone play any sort of game that requires constant action.

If this is real, I honestly think Nintendo is just going to further polarize themselves while also alienating a lot of their franchise moneymakers (how in the world will traditional Zelda/Mario/Smash work on this thing without stupid peripherals).

It would be smart to combine the handheld and console devs together for twice the throughput, or at least some more unified amount. But this... just looks awful for anything more intense.

I thought It could be this as well but why would a distribution center have a Devkit. :(

Isn't there a Nintendo office in Sweden (Bergsala)?

Quick google search pic below

I can live with an odd shape. No buttons hurts me. Those little nubs for sticks kill me dead, I hope they revise that if they have not already.

The gamepad wasn't, 480p could easily fit into it if Nintendo doesn't drop the ball and choose ANOTHER low resolution. Backwards compatability would most likely work like that with games that don't have off-TV play just working as they would have on the Wii U .

Let us reflect on the good days, when everything didn't revolve around trees.

I still think the vitality sensor would have been awesome if only for its horror game uses

which might have not been exactly what they were planning to use it for to be fair
